[h=3]1 Peter 3:7-8[/h]King James Version (KJV)

7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

7 In the same way, husbands, as you live with your wives, understand the situations women face as the weaker vessel. Each of you should respect your wife and value her as an equal heir in the gracious gift of life. Do this so that nothing will get in the way of your prayers.
8 Finally, all of you, be like-minded and show sympathy, love, compassion, and humility to and for each other—

7 Husbands should live by the word first following after Hisbefore their families or his own will. A good husband should want to be closerto God than His own wife. A husband is commanded to love his wife. Love oftenis the thing a woman most wants from her husband while for a man it is respectfrom his wife. Women are often more emotional than men and often are not asphysically strong as men. It is a partnership that should be done thru prayerand worship and devotion of the Lord.

8 There should not be division in marriage or the church evenduring disagreements this can be hard but if not done can lead to furtherproblems. We should treat the church better than we would the world because weshare blood, the blood of Christ.
