So you havent got any specific news reports or articles that youve verified to support your belief that "the protesters were paid by Somalis to protest." Could i make a suggestion, if youre going to post contentious opinions then its always a good idea to have specific articles or reports that can support those opinions, otherwise people just might think your views are more a product of your prejudices and bias rather than fact based assessments of the situation.

Whos playing "Spiritual games", certainly not me, as to "having a clue how the Holy Spirit works", well i'm always a little wary to say the least of those who claim that the Holy Spirit supports their particular beliefs and prejudices without firm evidence that those beliefs are firmly grounded in Christs teachings.. For as you so rightly say , it tends "to give enemies of the Faith ammunition to use against Christians". I can well remember a particular televangelist who claimed that God had told him he needed a private jet, to go along with his fleet of Limousines and Mansions. Yes , the Holy Spirit is used in many ways to justify what is blatantly unjustifiable if you believe that Christs teachings reflect how we, as his followers, should live our lives. And to answer your question, even though it seems youre not going to answer mine, that for me is "Authentic Christianity", allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us through the teachings and commandments of Christ so that we do his will, and do not twist and pervert his words and teachings to fulfill our own Political, social, religious and ideological agenda.

Why does it matter where i live, its Gods world is it not, ALL OF IT, not just the US, not just the UK, but ALL OF IT, you really need to understand that. As for my immigration status, what difference does that make to the point i'm trying to make, and i care about all people, not just my own little group, or crowd, or city, or nation, but ALL, Christ never imposed barriers on our Love and compassion, in fact he did the opposite, and if you read the Sermon on the Mount more often you might get to understand that.

For myself , the issue is clear, Christ commanded his followers to love their neighbours, to treat others as they'd like to be treated and in Matthew 25 :43, condemned those that turned the stranger away to "everlasting punishment". We can debate the practicalities of such a position, we can look for difficulties or long term solutions, but to me it seems the underlying principle is clear, as a Christian, a follower of Christ, we are to follow his commandments whether or not they conflict with our own moral or political ideals.

Psalm 118:8-9 states: "It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes." This emphasizes that even powerful human leaders are unreliable compared to God.

Matthew 24:6 states: "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come." political parties and elites play these games, and that is how they create the bulk of their wealth.

Isaiah 2:22 commands: "Cease from man, whose breath is in his nostrils; for of what account is he?" This highlights the frailty and temporality of human life compared to God's eternality.

Psalm 146:3-4 warns: "Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish."

The Biggest Tragedy is that the impoverished and starving in Africa (and other countries that are "receiving aid", are getting little to none of it). The governments (those at the top, who are insanely rich) are turning a blind eye because they are in on the pickings.

I don't know but it is interesting to see how people are not so much "head in the sand" anymore, about what is actually going on.

And do you not think that the Donors of AID know only too well whats going on. For decades AID has not only been used to help those in need but as a political and economic tool to assist "friendly" Governments and also ensure that the profits of the mineral resources of so called "Developing" nations flow into the coffers of the west. And a lot of the Aid given is in the form of Loans, Loans that have to be repaid with interest, and loans that often carry "conditions" as to what the recipient has to do both in terms of social and economic policies. And then theres climate change, caused in the main by the rich nations, that is increasingly devastating poorer countries economies. For sure the system is corrupt from top to bottom, but what do you expect from Humanity, for we are ALL wretched sinners, the best that can be done is to try to push donor governments to do their best to ensure the money goes to those in need and to try to reduce the corruption as far as possible.

My view is simple, if only 20cents in the $ got through at least thats 20c more than if the money wasnt given in the first place, and if i was the one in need i'd sure want that 20cents to get through. Of course we must try to improve the system, but to drastically reduce AID as many rich nations are doing is only going to increase the Death and suffering. Millions will die as a result of AID cuts, tens of millions more pushed into abject poverty, and if we were one of those suffering, what would we want to happen?.
