“I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd. For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again. No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father.” (John 10:16-18 NASB1995)

When Jesus spoke these words, his sheep (his followers) were primarily the Jews who had believed in him to be their Lord and Savior. So, the “other sheep” he was speaking of were the Gentiles who were soon to be included in the family of God, by faith in Jesus Christ, because of Jesus’ sacrifice on that cross for the sins of the world. And Jew and Gentile, by faith in Jesus Christ, were to become one people of God, no longer divided by Jew and Gentile, but now all one family, with Jesus Christ as their only shepherd.

For Jesus Christ made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall that stood between them, and he made the two (Jew and Gentile) into “one new man,” that he might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross. For through Christ we both (Jew and Gentile) have access in one Spirit to the Father so that non-Jews who believe in Jesus Christ are now fellow citizens with the Jewish saints of God who have trusted in Jesus Christ to be their Lord, both of whom are now of God’s household.

For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel, and not all who are physical descendants of Abraham are the children of Abraham. For it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but it is the children of the promise who are counted as offspring. So, if you belong to God, by biblical faith in Jesus Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise, because Jesus Christ is the seed of Abraham, and God’s promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed (Galatians 3:16).

So, there is no more division between Jew and Gentile. We are all one people, one holy nation, by genuine faith in Jesus Christ. And all who deny that Jesus is the Christ are not of God, but they are antichrist, denying both the Father and the Son (Jesus Christ). So physical Jerusalem is no longer God’s holy city because she is of Hagar, the slave woman, and not of Sarah, the free woman. But spiritual Jerusalem, which is not a physical place, is the family of God by faith in Jesus Christ. We are God’s holy city, his people.

But we are not included in God’s family merely by verbal professions of faith in Jesus Christ. So here is what it means to be of faith in Jesus Christ:

Jesus Christ taught that to come to him we must deny self, take up our cross daily (die daily to sin), and follow (obey) him. For if we hold on to living in sin and for self, we will lose our lives for eternity. But if we deny self, die daily to sin, by the Spirit, and we walk in obedience to our Lord and to his commands, in his power, then we have eternal life with God. For not everyone who calls him “Lord” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one DOING (obeying) the will of God (see Luke 9:23-26; Matthew 7:21-23).

For by God-gifted faith in Jesus Christ, which is not of our own doing, we are crucified with Christ in death to sin and raised with Christ to walk in newness of life in him, no longer to live as slaves to sin but as slaves to righteousness in walks of obedience to God’s commands. We are no longer to permit sin to reign in our mortal bodies to make us obey its desires. For if sin is what we obey, it results in death. But if obedience to God is what we obey, it results in sanctification, and its end is eternal life with God (see Romans 6:1-23).

so very true ! yet some believe that Jesus has 2 flocks, one jew and one gentile, makes no sense at all. but that is what Dispensationalism teach and believe
 
Of course Jesus has one church which is comprised of Jews and Gentiles.

But even though that is true, does not mean he is done with physical Israel.

In his word he promises to bring them back to himself, which there are many scriptures towards this, but I will mention one:.

Eze 36:22-26
(22) Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
(23) And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
(24) For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
(25) Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
(26) A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

It sure does speak of Israel, coming back to him.

And in the bible, concerning Jerusalem, it mentions Jerusalem in many ways, sometimes in a parabolic spiritual form, and other times it is talking about physical Jerusalem, let us not ignore one or the other, which many do.

Isa 2:1-3
(1) The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
(2) And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
(3) And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Here it is showing the Lord's house being established in the top of the mountains, and the word of the Lord coming from Jerusalem.

Now will Christ be reigning from Jerusalem ?

Zec 14:16
(16) And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

All that came against Jerusalem shall go from year to year to worship the king, and where shall they go ?

Zec 14:17
(17) And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

They shall go to Jerusalem were the king is, and this is speaking of the millennial reign, it sure sounds like Jerusalem will still be important to God in the millennial reign.

And this is speaking of physical Jerusalem, for it speaks of physical nations, and one's that went against the physical city of Jerusalem, hmmm.

But some will say but what about the New Jerusalem ?

Rev 21:1-2
(1) And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
(2) And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

The new Jerusalem which is at present in Heaven, shall come down from heaven unto the new earth, which is not during the millennial reign, but after the millennial reign is over, which he creates a new heaven and new earth.

So many claim false doctrine this, and false doctrine that, and in some cases it is true, but if we are ignoring verses that actually speak of the situation, then who is really preaching the false doctrine ? ? ?

He is not done with anyone is he??

So, I ask you is God done with Judaism?

Judaism was never God's plan to begin with, but bringing back the Jewish people to himself, that is one of his plans, as I quoted through scripture.

not sure what you mean by bringing back Jewish people to himself.. I am thinking you mean a large number of them, perhaps I am wrong??
but we know through scripture that only a remnant of people Jew and gentil will be saved. All through scripture the word teaches the Pathe is narrow and few find it.

Romans 9:27
Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:

everyone has veil over there eyes until they turn to Christ, we see the Jewish nation as a whole was entrusted with the oracles of God, but that does not give the individual any special treatment, we all have to turn to Christ.

Ya very true.
 
It is always a remnant, but at the time of the second coming, the ones who are Jews, who survive the tribulation period, shall be saved.

There may be some who survive the tribulation period that are already saved, but in the bigger picture, the Jewish survivors that form the nation of Israel in the millennial reign shall be saved.

God makes it clear to us that he does not play favorites, we are all under a new covenant brought in by Jesus, the old covenant has passed away.

Romans 10:12
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.

Hebrews 8:13
In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

We can see in revelations that the saints are there, and the beast has been allowed to make war over them, , this is a time for the saints to shine for Christ,, what greater honor is there then to die for Christ as all the apostles have done. As Christ died for us.

We also see in revelation that no one repents, so we do not see anyone coming to Christ, and Paul himself teaches a great falling away at end time, and I do think revelations is end times, he does not speak of a great revival.

Revelation 9:20
Now the rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the works of their hands. They did not stop worshiping demons and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk.

Revelation 13:7
Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, (so we see the enemy is allowed to pour out his wrath on Gods people this is not the wrath of God) (We do see later on that Gods wrath is poured out, and his people are sealed beforehand)

2 Thessalonians 2:3
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; ( so he does not speak about a great revival or the Jews he tells us what to look for)
 
Rom 11:21-29

(21) For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
(22) Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
(23) And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
(24) For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
(25) For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
(26) And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
(27) For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
(28) As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
(29) For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.		Eze 36:22-26

Ezekiel is clear about God bringing the house of Israel back into their own land, and bringing them back to himself so to save them, right now Jews as a whole are not saved, but then, the ones who survive the great tribulation will get saved.

And this will take place at the second coming of Christ, but if you need more evidence, well there is Romans.

Now here are comments that I said in another thread:
So the good olive tree is representative of spiritual Israel, and the natural branches that were cut out, is representative of ethnic Israel, and of course the ones who did not put their faith in God, and the branches that were grafted in, represents Gentiles who put their faith in God.

Now spiritual Israel, or what is called inward Jews, point to people who are saved, which is comprised of believing ethnic Jews and Gentiles.

And it says that blindness in part, and not in full, has happened to ethnic Israel.

But this blindness upon ethnic Israel (the ones who did not believe), shall remain until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.

Which means there is one day coming to were their blindness shall be removed.

Then in verse 26, it says this about ethnic Israel: "And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:"

It is talking about ungodliness being removed from Jacob, which means they were not in a godly state, but one day they shall be removed from their ungodly state, by Israel getting saved.

And when shall that happen ?

When the deliverer comes out of Sion, which is at the second coming.

So all Israel that survive the tribulation period, and do not get killed at the second coming, all of them shall be saved.

And then in verse 28, it says this: "As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes:"

This is still speaking of Ethnic Israel, that is the unbelieving ethnic Israel, and it is the same Israel as spoken in verse 26, to were one day (second coming) their ungodliness gets removed.


And it continues to say about the unbelieving ethnic Israel this: " but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.".

Now it says this: "(26) And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
(27) For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins."

When shall the deliverer come out of Sion ? at the second coming.

What shall this deliverer do ? he shall turn ungodliness from Jacob, and save Israel, and take away Israel's sins.

Also it says this: "(25) For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in."

When does the deliverer take away Israel's sin ? at his coming, the second coming.

When does he remove their blindness ? When the fulness of the Gentiles be come in, which is when the last Gentile comes to Christ, near the time of the second coming.

So will there be people who get saved in the tribulation period, yes.

Other verses can be shown as well, but I know how people are critical of verses, things concerning Elijah can be said, and so on.

And Roman shows clearly that it happens at Christ second coming, and in Ezekiel, when it mentions God bringing Israel back to their land and saving them, is not spoken in the past tense, but in future tense, something that was futuristic from Ezekiel's time, which God promised to do.

Gen 17:8
(8) And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

This was a promise by God himself, and this land would be for an everlasting possession.

God always keeps his promises.

And yes in the time of Moses and Joshua, when they were to first take possession of the land, there were conditions, they needed to trust God, and walk in his ways, in order to possess the land.

And of course Abraham put his faith in God, and God honored his faith.

But in the quote in our Genesis verse, it specifically mentions how God himself would give them the land, there was no specific conditions in those statements, but when it came time to possess the land, there was indeed conditions, and God gave instructions towards this.

And it is to be an everlasting possession, not a revoked possession, but an everlasting possession.

But regardless to the valley of dry bones, does God promise to bring Israel back to their own land, in a future prophesy ?

Yes.

Eze 36:22-26

What was done away, according to the bible

Here are specific things, that it actual shows:


Done away

1. Physical circumcision as a law (Gal
5:6 , Rom 2:28-29)

2. The days of the Sabbath, and other
old testament holy days (Col 2:14-16 ,
Rom 14:5-6)

3. The unclean and clean meat
ordinances (Act 11:8-9 , 1Ti 4:4-5 , Col
2:14-16 , Heb 9:9-10)

4. Drink ordinances, such as the
Nazarite vow (Col 2:14-16 , Heb 9:9-10)

5. The priesthood, and it’s duties (Heb
7:11-19 , 1Pe 2:5-9)

6. Sacrificing animals (Heb 10:8-12 ,
Heb 9:8-15 , 1Pe 3:18)

7. Divers washing, ordinances (Heb
9:9-10)


So these are very clear things, no guessing games needed on these specific things, and there may be more specifics, but these are among some of the main ones.

Now here are scriptures side by side to each other:


Col 2:14-17
(14) Blotting out the handwriting of
ordinances that was against us, which was
contrary to us, and took it out of the way,
nailing it to his cross;


Deu 31:24
(24) And it came to pass, when Moses had
made an end of writing the words of this law
in a book, until they were finished,
Deu 31:26
(26) Take this book of the law, and put it in
the side of the ark of the covenant of the
LORD your God, that it may be there for a
witness against thee.


What was blotted out?

It was the handwritten ordinances given to Moses, which was placed, on the side of the ark, and not inside the ark.

So the things inside the ark were the moral law, obviously that was not blotted out, otherwise we would no longer have to obey them, just like we no longer have to obey the ceremonial law.

Now the moral law itself does not save you, it is Christ that saves us, but in following Jesus, of course we will adhere to the moral law.

Now concerning the land promise to Israel, it was given even before these handwritten ordinances were given to Moses.

Gen 17:8
(8) And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

And in Ezekiel he reiterates his land promise:

(25) Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
(26) A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Then in Romans it says this:

Rom 11:26-29

(26) And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
(27) For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
(28) As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
(29) For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

The gifts and promises, God does not change his mind on, and obviously he has not changed his mind on the land promise, for he promises bringing them back into their land in Ezekiel.

Jesus and the Scriptures make it clear that, via Jesus' death on the cross, he did away with what separated Jew and Gentile and he made them both one people by faith in Jesus Christ. All who are merely physical descendants of Abraham are not God's children. They are not the children of promise, because they rejected Jesus as the Christ, their Messiah, and thus they do not believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jesus made that quite clear to the Jews in his discussions with them. Now, by faith in Jesus Christ they can become recipients of God's grace, and become the children of promise. But as long as they deny Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God, who is God, and who was God in the flesh when he lived on the earth, they are not recipients of God's grace and they are not heirs of the promise.

This was a promise by God himself, and this land would be for an everlasting possession.

he says he will give the land to the seed, so my question would be who is the seed to you?

If we look at what scripture says the seed is singular one, and the seed is Christ. Is my understanding

Paul EXPLICITLY states in Romans 9:7-8​

"7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.​

8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed."​


he again expounded on this again in Galatians 3:29​

"And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."​

ONLY those who are found in Christ is truly part of Israel... it doesn't matter if you're an Ethnic Jew, an Arab, a Persian, a Russian, or an American... if you are not a part of Jesus Christ, you are neither Abraham's seed, nor heirs according to the promise​

an unsaved Jew is like any other person who is not saved: they need the Gospel just as much as anyone else, and it is our duty by God to preach the Gospel unto them... not puff them up and put them on a pedestal simply because of their race​

 
Eph 2:11-17

(11) Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
(12) That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
(13) But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
(14) For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
(15) Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
(16) And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
(17) And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.


Ok in verse 12, when it says “at that time”, it is referring to the time before the cross, which was the Old covenant.

And “at that time”, the Gentiles were aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise of the time.


Now could Gentiles get saved under Old covenant times ? Yes.

But as a whole most Gentiles did not get saved, and did not know the covenants that Israel had.


Num 15:16
(16) One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.


Exo 12:49
(49) One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.


If the stranger wanted to follow God and his ways, he had to be circumcised as others, and obey the feasts, and so on, and so on, it was one law for all.

So they could be what was called proselytes, but they had to follow God’s ways, but in certain areas, Gentiles had some restrictions.


So Gentiles of that time did not know the promises God gave to Israel, and a lot of the things of the time, were centered around Jerusalem, such as the sacrifices, the temple and so on.


Eph 2:13
(13) But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.


So the Gentiles were made nigh by the blood of Christ, and of course you have to get saved, in order to receive the benefits of the cross.

And that is how we Gentiles have been made nigh to God, by Christ’s sacrifice, and his new covenant.


Eph 2:14
(14) For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

So we can see that the Gentiles and Jews did not have all the same privileges via the old covenant, even in regards to the temple, but now in Christ there is no such division, and now the focus is not a physical temple in Jerusalem, but now, they that are in Christ, are the temple of the Holy Ghost.


Eph 2:14

(16) And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:


What was the enmity in this case ?

Now there are other verses that talk about the word enmity in a slightly different way, but in this case, what is it talking about ?

Well in verse 16, it speaks of reconciling both unto God, a key word, is the word both, he slain the enmity that there was between the both, or the 2.

So that and the law of commandments contained in ordinances (ceremonial law etc.) were abolished.

And yes there was enmity between God and man, but also between Jew and Gentiles.

And now no one has to go to Jerusalem to the temple, for we are now the temple of the Holy Ghost, and have been made nigh by the blood of the lamb.

So Ephesians 2:15 says this:”...for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;”.


So Christ made in himself of 2 (Gentile and Jew) one new man, that is one new spiritual man, which have no dividing wall of partition.

And in verse 16 it says this:”...And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross”.

Well who is the body of Christ ? The Church, and the church is not an ethnic group, so being one spiritual man, and being one body the church, basically refers to the same thing.

There is no dividing wall between the ethnic Jews and Gentiles, because we have been made into one spiritual man, and one church.
 
Of course one spiritual man, and one church in Christ, as people who have received Christ.
 
I will get into the seed thing, and ethnic Jews vs spiritual Jews, at some point very soon.

And yes, if a Jew has not received Christ as his Lord and Savior, he is not saved, he is not born again, and he is not following God.

All scripture must be believed as they are written.
 
Born again

Joh 3:6-7
(6) That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
(7) Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

We cannot skip steps of course, we first must be born again, then the Holy Spirit can change us and conform us to the image of Christ.

And it says that which is born of the Spirit (big S) is spirit (small s).

When we were born again, we were not born again physically, but rather spiritually.

And when it speaks of inward Jews, that is spiritual, which is what we are in Christ.

When it speaks of the 2, that is the ethnic Jews and Gentiles, becoming one man, through what Christ done, well the many of the Gentiles and Jews that receive Christ, form this one man, and when we receive Christ we get born of the Spirit, thus we form this one man, as being born of the Spirit, as being spirit (small S).

And then there is us becoming one church, and we are one church in Christ, with people who have been born again.

The spiritual does not annul the physical, but that will be for another post.
