Warning: this is a little long, but it is something I would like to share. I am the type of person who gets great joy from doing things for others. It keeps my mind occupied. I mow people's yards, clean their houses, cook for them, bake, etc.; whenever I have a day to myself, I have too much time to be in my head. I think a lot of negative thoughts and get depressed very quickly. The last time this happened, was about two weeks ago. That day, I said to God,"I know You have a purpose for my life, and I know that it is not for me to lay here in this bed, crying and being depressed. Please Lord show me what it is that I'm supposed to be doing for your Glory." That night I woke up to use the restroom. When I came back into the bedroom, the clock on the nightstand said 11:11 PM. The next night I woke up to go to the restroom. I came back into the bedroom and the red numbers on the clock jumped out at me! 11:11 PM. I was unable to go back to sleep thinking about this. The next morning I got up and texted my daughter about it. We both then started looking at the biblical meaning behind the number 11. According to Google and other Biblical Numerology sources , the number 11 is a sign of a spiritual awakening and to pay attention to divine messages. When the number 11 is repeated, it amplifes this meaning. Now let's just say, that I was beyond excited that God had confirmed to me that he had heard my prayer! It does not end there. The following day, the electricity went off at our house at 12:05 AM. Georgia power estimated it to be restored at 11:36 PM that night. After getting all of the food out of the refrigerator and putting it on ice, I went to my daughter's house to spend the night.
The next day, my son and his girlfriend were going to be arriving at my house to get his belongings before they headed, on their long journey, to Idaho. My son had texted me that traffic was very bad because of the race that weekend. I live near the speedway, so I got out my GPS and typed in my home address, just in case I needed to find a different route. After typing in the address, my ETA displayed my arrival time on the screen. You guessed it, 11:11 AM. I pulled in my driveway at exactly 11:11 AM. My son and his girlfriend had most of his stuff already loaded and ready to go. We then decided to have a gun safety lesson and do some target practice. I had a dentist appointment at 1:30 that afternoon. It was extremely hot outside, and I had to take a shower before I left. Remember, I pulled in my driveway at 11:11 AM. It is now 12:30 in the afternoon, and I come in the house, take a shower, and get ready to go to the dentist office. The clocks had not been reset and were still blinking from the power outage the day before. I got out of the shower, and came into the bedroom to get dressed. There again, blinking repeatedly were the giant red numbers, on my bedside alarm clock, 11:11. Call me crazy, or out of touch, but I truly believe that the Lord spoke to me through the number 11.
And please don't think that I'm into astrology or numerology or anything like that and into trying to predict the future. I am not. Only God knows the future. All I know is that since this experience, several things have happened to me that have further deepen my belief in that this was a message from the Lord. I was sharing this story with one of my Christian brothers at church on Sunday. Afterwards, I was telling him about the very first Bible verse that I had memorized when I was a child. It had been with me all of these years, and I had no idea, at the time, that would be the very verse that I would be praying over my daughter's life, when she was lost in addiction. I was then 56 years old. Which, by the way she now has almost 6 years clean! Praise the Lord !! The Bible verse is Acts 16:31. "And they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shall be saved, and thy house." I started praying that, and claiming that over my daughter's life, that because of my faith she was already saved, because she was part of my house. And you guessed it, I was 11 years old when I memorized that verse. I didn't even catch that when I was telling the story to my friend. He was the one that made note of that and brought my attention to it. That same day, during the sermon in the auditorium, my pastor had mentioned that there was a recipe for happiness in the Bible. He did not elaborate on where it was but said that he'd be happy to show people who were interested. I had no idea where it was, but planned on asking later. I had to pass the offering plate that day, which required me to leave my seat and go to the front row when we started the prayer for the offering. I left my church bulletin, along with a very special birthday card from a young lady, laying in my seat. I passed the offering plate and exited the auditorium, giving the plate to one of the security guards and then went to my daughter's office. I then realized that I had forgotten my bulletin, as well as my very special birthday card in my seat. I frantically ran back to the auditorium, in hopes that they were still there. To my dismay, they were not. But in one of the chairs, two rows behind where I was sitting, there was another bulletin laying there. I retrieved the bulletin which had the answers filled in the blanks and several notes made in the margins. At the very bottom, the person had written, recipe for happiness, Psalm 16. Looks like God wanted me to look there. (Pay attention to Divine messages)Upon returning to the church office, I found my bulletin along with my beautiful handmade birthday card from my friend Elizabeth. Not sure how it got there, maybe I had it all along. I don't know. Anyway, I got home, and could not wait to grab my Bible to look up Psalm 16. Surprise! Psalm 16 only has 11 verses! The recipe for happiness, particularly verse 11. The psalmist is singing praises to God. These are his words in verse 11. "You will show me the pathway to life. In your presence, there is fullness of joy. At your right hand are pleasures forevermore." I can't even read or quote that verse now without crying, overwhelming tears of joy and happiness. Something has happened to me, and God did it. Stones rolled away, peace beyond ALL understanding. That is my story, and I am sticking to it. Every word is true, exactly how it has unfolded. Don't get me wrong, all of my problems have not vanished by no means. But I have this overwhelming happiness that I cannot contain! My God is always on time.
That was my facebook post on July 4, 2025.
Two days ago the enemy was tormenting me physically and mentally. I was in the car listening to praise and worship, on my way home. I was crying. Stopped at a red light, I looked at the clock in the car. 11:11. An overwhelming peace covered me as I heard my Master say, “I am here.”
Today I was in the grocery store. I had my cellphone in my back pocket when it rang. I pulled it out of my pocket and was slapped in the face. 11:11. HE NEVER LEAVES ME. I will always believe HE is speaking to me through this number. Thank you for letting me share.

Thanks for sharing. Im excited for what God has on store for you next, but it might be scary or a big step of faith & He is deepening your faith first. I was expecting you to come across a verse 11 in chapter 11 somewhere in the Bible that really spoke to you. Keep pursuing the God of Love and following enjoying the adventure He has for you.xx

Hello Sister,
Welcome to Talk Jesus an online community of Jesus Christ Believers.
I hope you will find fellowship and growth in God's Word while you are here.
Glad you're not into astrology or numerology. Things that one should stay away from for sure.
On the "111", well we've had a few threads on the subject, whereby individuals have given testimonies' like yours and what they have meant to them. If you use it as a reminder of how much God loves you, especially when you feel yourself being attacked by the enemy, and with negative thoughts. Good for you! Because the bottom line is that He does love you, and will never forsake you either! :)

God bless you for being a blessing to I'm sure are many others, as one gifted with service, as a gift of the spirit usually are. Keep the faith!

Well, don't mind the long windiness of your post...we have many here who are story tellers themselves. lol
Anway, enjoy, and God bless you and yours.
With the Love of Christ Jesus.
