May the Lord Jesus bless us with his wisdom and love
Making a statement in a general sense, like "many of the churches", causes a problem in itself. Like what are the churches failing to do? If they're failing to do what "YOU" expected them, then maybe it is us who are failing the churches.
The same thing about taking a stick out of the other person's eye and the log out of your own eye, is also true about churches in general. It isn't the churches that are failing it is we and our understanding that fail. It isn't the stick in the eye of the churches the log in our own eye.
Churches are not in themselves a breathing entity. We the people are the church.
If we disagree with those who were before us, then maybe we are following the wrong path ourselves. Because the church has stood, and this is all the Christians have stood for many many years hundreds of years before major splits came along. And instead of trying to fix the problem they just split.
We continue to see the same problem, every time there's a difference of opinion in virtually every church. They don't try to fix the problem instead they run away and make another church, and then say that the previous church was wrong
