Even I would say, do not stray from the Word of God. Do not get distracted by the chaos. Focus on Christ and His commandments. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Nothing else matters past chapter and verse, I would say.

But... the nuances of Christian behavior include details of things that are strange. Things like angelic intervention, casting out devils, what these look like, and instructions for the mobile temple to the Lord being replaced by two or three Christians anywhere. Yes, I digressed for context.

I am soliciting the TalkJesus.com community for your individual and collective insight to expound on what is being called "Satan's little season." I just want to learn. Thank you.

I would offer. I thought of the parable in Revelation 20 That was when Satan will be released for a little season again to try and deceive all the nations of the world that God is a dying Jewish man as King of kings .

God is not a man as us neither is there any infallible fleshly interpreter set between our Holy Father and dying mankind (Job 9;32)

Revelation 20 1-3 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.;And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,;And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

I have heard this explained two ways...

The first way is... it seems all of us humans go through a period of testing by Satan.
Even Paul and Jesus were tested by Satan.
One passed with flying colors, the other didn't do quite so good.

The second way is from Rev 20:3

(KJV) And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

It says after the millennial reign, Satan will be released "for a little season" to deceived people on the Earth.
It seems quite a few people will follow Satan at this time.

Rev 20:7 When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison,
Rev 20:8 and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore.

I've come across some people's arguments about whether we are currently in that situation. I think it's so odd that people are so concerned with signs and such that they forget all the times the Word tells us that today, now, is the time of salvation. All glory to Jesus Christ our Lord and Redeemer.

"Little season" means, "little" = "short", "season" = "time" Little season = "short time"

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Hi I would offer. The second way.

Neither God our Holy Father tempts us or the father of lies. Every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust of the flesh, leading to lust of the eye .the two building blocks of false pride

James 1:13-14Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

The result of the fall.

In that parable of the hidden tree of eternal life in the center.

Satan took advantage of the weaker vessel. Eve acting as priestess and Adam as if our invisible Christ after the order of the priesthood of believers below . Exodus 7:1-2

Exodus 7:1-2 And the Lord said unto Moses (Adam) See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron(Eve) thy brother shall be thy prophet.;(preacher)Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land.

Adam received the prophecy but did not share it with Eve the prophet Adam failing to protect. Eve the prophet. Satan grabbing opportunity violates scripture by adding to it false prophecy. Four words. "Nether shall you touch"

Then lust of the flesh a desire to see the hidden tree dreew them to the center onece they did see lust of the ey led to touch virtue was lost

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world

There is another "season" in scripture that deals with the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness.

Luke 4:13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

This word "season" does not mean "time" but "period of opportunity"

Well I gotta hand it to you, that's not a term I've ever run across before, but then with the internet and more people being dumped on the planet, these humans just come up with all sorts of wild stuff. I don't think I'd even find this term in my seminary's library. Amazing. The internet has truly destroyed scholarship.

THIS, though, has been a part of the church since day one. I've experienced both angelic intervention and have cast out a devil. Both truly unsettling events.

Wish I could help more, but the book of Revelation is not in our canon (never was) and hadn't been officially in your canon until the Synod of Hippo Regius in North Africa (A.D. 393).

The Canon of Amphilochius of Iconium circa 394 AD states:

I personally don't think it would take God almost 400 years to make up his mind about scripture. But people like a good occult story. (Maybe I should say story about the occult.)

I would offer the words differ.

Not just time for every purpose but also a season. Unknown time period. No date settings. Christ on the last day under the Sun will leave like a thief in the night

Ecclesiastic 3 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Daniel 2:21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

Little season unknown time. God does not give the time of the last day No signs were given .Satan will be adding lying signs to wonder after as if true prophecy until the last day of the little season

Seasons . . . .. are based on the position of Earth in relation to the sun and are marked by observable natural phenomena.
