God does not punish the Born again.

God has already PUNISHED His Son for the sin of the Born again.

See the : Cross of Christ for that Explanation.

You sure twist scripture to make say what you want .
The verse says he punishes his children. You say it don’t.
Amazing!
I know he spanks me when I sin.
If he doesn’t you,you should speak to him about it

See the Cross of Christ for the reason that He never will..

Now, what FATHER GOD will do is......."discipline" "correct", and "refine".

That is not PUNISHMENT.

Try to comprehend that, @lentz

While in punishment the design is simply with God for God's glory, in chastisement, it is with the person chastised for his good, for his spiritual profit and benefit.

It isn't a case of God being unjust because he refuses to punish His elect. Our punishment was laid squarely on the shoulders of Christ, as He offered that payment. It is ultimately His Grace and Faith to grant us as a free gift.

I would also add, that there is no basis for a moral standard that could uphold God being unjust, seeing that Justice doesn't make sense outside of the context of His existence.

1Pe 4:16 But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name!

1Pe 4:17 For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God’s household. And if judgment begins with us, what terrible fate awaits those who have never obeyed God’s Good News?

1Pe 4:18 And also, “If the righteous are barely saved, what will happen to godless sinners?”

1Pe 4:19 So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for he will never fail you (NLT)

God does not punish the Born again.

Maybe its the word punish, but God does discipline his own, that is clear as day in the word of God

Hebrews 12:6

For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.”

Revelation 3:19

Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.

So I guess it depends on how your looking at the word punish, for I know he punishes those he sends to hell, and I know I have been guilty of the same things he is sending people to hell for, but I have repented, so I have been given grace and do not get fully punished but still disciplined for things, I look at Gods discipline as sanctification a rehab of sort, it is for my own good and growth, I look at punishment as a permanent thing that does not necessarily help in our growth

God is patient and long suffering with both christians and non-christians. Without this, the human race would have been destroyed many times over.
