Do you think there will be food in heaven?

Consider what is mentioned in the Bible and what we see reported with Our risen Lord and Savior in His resurrected body.

"When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, "Have you any food here?" So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. And He took it and ate in their presence." (Luke 24:40-43)

"Blessed is the man who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God" (Luke 14:15)

"And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me, so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." (Luke 22:29-30)

"I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father's kingdom." (Matthew 26:29 || Mark 14:25)

I personally think, based on my study that there will be food in heaven, though we will not need to eat for sustenance but more for pleasure ( a treat than a need).
I think about our senses, (taste, touch, hearing, etc, etc), I don't think we lose these senses in heaven, although they will be
magnified and there will be less of a filter (corrupt flesh), and more direct engagement of the soul with the source. Thus I think the sense
of taste which was given in Eden will not be lost in heaven; because if Adam and Eve never sinned ( and all their children's children never sinned)
we would be together still in Eden, heaven (God's presence), eating (as we know Adam and Eve ate).

What are your thoughts?

remember we must stop thinking earthly or worldly.

“I have meat to eat you know not of”

We must go beyond Heaven in our thinking that is worldly type thinking. We will dwell in ETERNITY so for a change let us stop thinking Heaven let our Finite minds think “ETERNITY” at all times. The one who is not “Born of GOD” cannot go there but we can for we have the Ability to do so “For we have the mind of Christ”

it is a reason we are not to fellowship with those who are not “Born of GOD”
They change our “ETERNAL” language on earth to conform to their worldly heaven thinking.

They contaminate our “ETERNITY” thought patterns. Just by the simple words they use. The earthy thoughts about GOD and Heaven.
If we say we are “The Sons of GOD” they say “Christian’s”

If we say “Eternity” they say Heaven.

If We say Our Father they say “god”.
If we say “Born of His Spirit” or “Born of GOD” they say “Born Again” if we say “Born of Heaven” they “Born Again” it has also contaminated the witters of The Book by association and compromise

I do not think we devour food or drink at The Ceremony Dinner in Heaven at Our Coronation Table.

I do not think we will have a digestive system in us. I do not think will be eating and chewing “Life” in Heaven at The Table. I do not think “The Glorified Sons of GOD” will be harming anything.

I do think the terms are “Anthropomorphic” concerning food and drink. We will be “THE GLORY of GOD through out ETERNITY and our Rule have No End.

GOD our FATHER is CREATING something Brand NEW “a GIFT” HE Is Giving unto HIS Only Begotten SON, Created in Christ Jesus.

If you can behold what The SON has Created and it passes alway.
can you image what The FATHER is creating in Christ Jesus that cannot pass away but it is “ETERNAL” the Gift HE is Giving HIS SON because GOD the FATHER loves HIS only Begotten SON.

The languages does do this portion in The Holy Scripture the best it can.

We are much more than a mere earthy born human we have been change . Not in knowledge, not in thought, but a new creature and being constantly shape and mold into something completely brand new.

PS. When Jesus rose from the grave and ate he did not have a “Glorified Body”

Food in ETERNITY, not as we think food.

I tell you, many will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven,

I agree brother @PloughBoy that in the Bible metaphors are used often.

However just because metaphors are used sometimes such as you quoted Jesus saying "“I have meat to eat you know not of”"
this does not mean that every time Jesus speaks of meat it was a metaphor or figurative language.

But of course someone of your great intellect knows this.

So the interpretation comes from studying the context of the text and how it relates to scripture and the passage in which it is mentioned, etc etc.

Still apply worldly terms to “Anthropomorphic” words. As ETERNAL Reality.

GOD is Not A human being. And earthly humans will not Enter “ETERNITY” you will not need “Toilet Paper” there. The Flesh will not go and we will not be “GLUTTONS” and do things for fun and be Entertain or Entertain others. Maybe you didn’t get the messages or The Good News According to Jesus The Anointed of GOD the FATHER, I did.
he made it know to me one of The Sons of The Living GOD, That We who are His, who HE so ordained before all Creations. Before there was a thought. What would come to pass. By HIS design and what would come to be. And what we shall be Created in Christ Jesus. “THE MANIFESTATIONS of THE GLORY of GOD” That will LIGHT UP all “ETERNITY” for We THE Sons of GOD will be THE MANIFESTATION of THE GLORY of GOD.

Or the Heaven they had a war in where that evil was. Or have many forgot that fighting was going in Heaven. That heaven which became polluted? The Heaven that GOD is Going to destroy?

God better not take off His rode in Glory and come down Here again, He better have on HIS whole Armor and a Army when He comes back because they will kill Him again.

Is this the "holding" place?
Who are the "spirits" (notice they do not yet have supernatural bodies) who have been made perfect?

Yep!
9For we know in part, and we prophesy in part;10but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away. 11When I was a child, I used to speak as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. 12For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I shall know fully just as I also have been fully known.

Great question. I guess based on the way the questioned is asked, let's look at heaven as defined as the new earth.

Yes, they probably would kill God again if He came back.

Although it would probably be the religions people again.

But as you stated, next time it will be with the Host of Angels when Jesus returns. Mannn, what a day when that last trumpet will sound. Woww.

He is coming back with an Army, and will Rule with an “IRON SCEPTER” from “The New Jerusalem” in The Sky! and “a shared Rule” which is a “joint Inheritance”

After a thousand is over and those you”Respect”
Will gather their Armies and not only are they going try to kill Him, if you in that city, They are going to try to kill you too!

7When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. And what did Jesus Father tell Him:

I misspoke,

Not if, but when.

What I meant was "If he came back as a human" they would kill Him.
But in his glorified body and with the angels the 2nd time coming is not to die on the cross but to sit as Judge on the throne.

Jesus is back as he is living inside of us his church. If they have persecuted me they will also persecute you. whatever they do unto the least of my brethren they also have unto me.
