The songs and praise of the children of God are soooo wonderful to God. Thanks for pleasing God with your song. I dont think I should post them, but I wrote some pretty good parables, many under the influence of the Holy Spirit. I am sort of proud that the Lord would use me in a good way like that. I love knowing that God uses me to do things He wants done here on the earth. I am not worthy on my own, but He calls me worthy, and I rest on His promise. He loves us all so much!

I am learning the guitar, so wrote this to help me learn. Not too bad after the first two strums. LOL. 
But glory to God!!!! I have to get back on it. Haven't practiced in a couple days. Hubby wants to learn too.

Guitar is my all-time favorite music flavor. I play folk guitar but I am still learning. If I had to give any advice to beginners it would be to play every day to develope solid calluses, approach is playing session with a creative heart, and to have fun learning new techniques. I used my video camera and glean various teachers. Then, I download them on my laptop because repetition is essential to make things stick in the mind. Once you start - it's hard to stop! Maranatha!

Well.... I haven't picked it back up. Been sitting in the unused bassinet. Lol. I need to practice some more though. It is fun. I think I'd get more into it with lessons. I might look into it. I am more disciplined to make lessons then YouTube lessons. LOL.

Lol. I'm afraid I that I can't put it down now that I have picked up back up after about 15 years without it. Plucking is in my dna. My great granddad played banjo. My grandfather played lap guitar. And, my father played guitar. My brother played but, now, he prefers keyboard. I tried to switch, too, but, guitar picks seem to be following me. I found two, so far. And, someone gifted me one at a speaking event after church. So, I know that this is our Lord's way of confirming which instrument that He wants me to play. Amen?

I definitely love to sing. I never got much into piano or guitar. I think it helps starting young, but never too late.

Amen! I heard you voice....THAT is your GOD glorifying instrument, for sure! The song you wrote is beautiful. I write songs inspired by the Psalms. Maybe, the Lord willing we might "collab" on one or two songs.
