For now it is impossible for the radical left to take over America by coup d'état. The

Personally I count Christian internet forums the greatest blessing to come along
since the printing press, the Gutenberg Bible, and the overland telegraph system.

The DOA is a beautiful historical document, but it is not the law of the land here in
America; nor has it ever been.

NOTE: I read the portions the you bolded and underscored, but not as cherry
picked. I read them in context. To me they speak not of resisting the colonists' own
government at home, rather; that of governments abroad.

Bro, you can't be serious. The Declaration was a BOND, a PACT, a PROMISE, between men who were willing to sacrifice their fortunes, their families, their very lives, lives that were every part British as those of anyone living in any territory outside of England that was ruled by the British crown.

Their neighbors, their friends, members of their own families would not help them because many of them remained loyal to the Crown as a result of Anglican preachers invoking Romans 13.

The founding fathers were going to war against their own government. You've heard the term Tory: Americans that remained loyal subjects to the crown during the War of Independence. During that war, one-third of Americans were Tory, one-third were Patriots, and one-third took a seat in the stands and refused to fight or support the struggle for either side.

What side do you believe God was on in that war of independence?

When I was a little boy back in the late 1940s, my dad told me that America was
safe from foreign invasion because we are a Christian nation. Even had that been
true back then, it certainly isn't now.

Yes there are Christians living here, but they are not in full control of either
America's religion or its economy or its politics; and to top it off, quite a few
Americans identifying themselves as Christians-- both in private life and in political
life --don't live by Christian principles; in point of fact they don't even act like
Christians let alone live as Christians.

No super power has managed to remain super. Sooner or later they all become
weak and dismantled, e.g. Rome, Persia, Greece, Babylon, Assyria, Phoenicia, etc. I
sincerely believe that America has been on track for the same fate; and of late, it's
fall has been accelerating.

You know: sometimes the only cure for a nation's decadence, and its deplorable
spiritual condition, is to nuke it from orbit; so to speak. Well; were America nuked,
it would kill a lot of people but at least it would rescue us from the unbearable
Federal debt that our government is accumulating. There's a bright side to
everything I guess; even the unthinkable.

Your dad was wrong. Anyone who thought that the U.S. was safe from foreign invasion was dead wrong, especially after Communism, Fascism, and Nazism hit Europe. Those three ideologies caused cultural Marxists to leave Europe and settle in the USA, many of them intellectuals and academics educated in the Frankfurt School. Once they got to the USA, they became entrenched in education, first at Columbia University, then throughout the U.S. Today nearly every state's education system (pre-K thru 12) is loaded with teachers indoctrinated into marxist ideology over the last 40-50 years by cultural marxists in higher education, and the teachers of today begin indoctrinating the youth at the earliest age (pre-K) to ensure that the invasion of the US by a foreign power comes from within. That's what we are seeing today - cultural marxism is destroying the U.S. from within. If you're a believer saved by God's grace through your faith in Lord Jesus, thank God this is not your home. Maranatha, Lord Jesus.
