I am not sure why two moderators all of sudden came here

Greetings again, Linda,

may i please speak for my fellow Moderator as you have spoken of him?

being a Moderator often gets misunderstood. Often being a Moderator means that when we post something here in the fellowship of TalkJesus, our words are pre-read as being Moderators rather than being fellow members of not only the forums but of the Body.
May i assure you that our moderator, Christ4Ever has your best interest at heart and he would be one of the last standing in your defense if ever a situation arose for it. From what i see, he wrote to you out of love and concern for you, not to scold you or be the big moderator type.

Believe it or not, but i think you already know, there are quite a few here who have and do pray for you and want only the best, being the fulness of everything God has for you in Christ Jesus.... and i know without asking him, that Nick is one such man and again, any moderation he inputted into his post here was that of a caring overseer of the flock, and as a reassurance to you that all is OK.

I was reminded of a song that i would like to share with you. Somewhere in your posts i had the unction. it is even more fitting now, and i think you might find it is something that our Brother Nick (Christ4Ever) would likewise take to heart in all he does.

JESUS IS LORD

Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.
Matthew 5:9

It's up to you to deny yourself, to put what God wants ahead of what you want

yes, but sometimes when i am feeling really tired and flat, when i get weak and beggarly, i have asked that the Lord would remove it all from me.... probably because it would be so much easier. Trouble is, though, that in doing things that way, i would have no strength or endurance to move forward or back. Might even be lukewarm and spew able, too?!
The Lord understands but because of His love, He wants us to take some steps, in much the same way parents want their little ones to take some. It would be abnormal for a ten year old to still be crawling and wanting to be picked up and carried... let alone old blokes like me.

Thank you for the words that ruffle my feathers and remind me to press on. May i repay you someday or else the Lord send others across your path to do such.

When Joshua said, Choose this day who you will serve, would we if we were they, say, we want God to choose for us... almost implying that they did not know? Doubt it.

Rebellion is an active move against, and in my tiny way of seeing it, that means that obedience has to be an active move for [the Lord]
When we eat breakfast, lunch or dinner or even if we only manage to scrape together one meal a day, we do have to actually eat it... well, at least swallow it. Same as when nature calls and we need to go 'loo loo skip to the loo' if we don't want lots of cack to get ... you know...

Do we as Christians get exempt from ever doing anything to help ourselves, so to speak?
I was born with silver or plastic spoon in my mouth???? or was it a wooden cross to carry? Take up your cross and follow Me, said the Lord.... but can't you do that for me my brother? Or my sister? Someone??? Maybe Jesus will carry my cross for me? or....

is it at least a little bit up to me?

However, we are told to bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ - Galatians 6:2 , so i would like to put a little spanner in your works [what's new, says he] and that is to extend the OP to being not, It's On You, but, It's On Us..... and that way we all might see more clearly not only the pitfalls and snares we might get caught up in but those that others might get hurt or worse by.
Nothing worse than a strong and fit person sitting and watching a struggling person struggle.

Love and Peace for Jesus Is Lord

Bless you ....><>

Thank you for praying for me, and God miraculously delivered me from complete bondage. Praise Jesus. His blood. He did it ALL, but this does not change the way I feel about the OP here, and if you truly care about this person (and those who might be reading this) and really consider him a brother in Christ, you need to pray for him, and you need to help him rely on Jesus 'alone' for his salvation. I am very disappointed to read about legalism on a Christian site. It is heartbreaking but I was there. God can indeed open his eyes, if he chooses to humble himself. Jesus did it for me.

We need to trust Jesus alone for our salvation. I am not going to add anything here. I'll share my testimony in another post as I really need to stay away from the online world for awhile. I promised to dedicate my life to Jesus after my baptism and deliverance, and I do not have much time now to spend arguing with my brothers and sisters. We need to be united in Jesus.

Greetings Linda,

you need to pray for him,

i have done and do and will pray for my Brother because like you and me, he is loved by the same Lover.
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
John 15:12

I am glad you are going to stay offline for a while at least because, as you wrote, [paraphrased] , you have given your life to One Who wants you to spend time getting to know Him.

Thank you very much for your message, i do appreciate it. Please drop by occasionally and let me know how you are doing and of the wonderful love that the Lord has bestowed on you through Jesus Christ His Son

Jesus is Lord

Bless you ....><>

For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ. And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; that ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:8-11
