If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?" Ester 4:14 NLT

Esther faced possible death if she approached King Xerxes about Haman, the king’s most powerful official. Haman planned to destroy all he Jews throughout the empire. But Ester’s relative, Mordecai, challenged her, saying she may have been made queen for this very reason—to give voice to those who would otherwise perish. You know he rest of the story. She spoke up and saved her people.

Esther is a model for the Christian to place more value on the lives of the innocent than on themselves. Today, believers are the loudest voices for the unborn, who sometimes face violent deaths before they escape the womb. Have you added your own voice for their cause, knowing you may be shouted down by opposing force? Do you speak up for people who are bullied or shamed?

Who knows if perhaps you were placed in the position you hold for such a time as this?

Prayer: Lord, I’m often weary from fighting for good causes, but I know that You value life and are calling me to sacrifice my current status and reputation to speak for those who cannot. Embolden me to do so.

Be honest with me friend,

can a conversion to Christianity be as hard as it is for me? I have been stirring in the agony of confusion for half a year now. Also, please delete this post (mine) and your response in 1 day--I do not want to affect new converts in their journey with The LORD. For me, the way that my mind works and the gifts that I have make it unusually tough, especially because I am so discerning. Please understand. :(

Matthew 19:14
But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Proverbs 22:6
Start children off on the way they should go,
and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

It's as though I've been trying to take in the whole bible as quickly as I can; I know that the truth is there, but I feel so strongly that the messages are so exceedingly important that I myself am falling apart in the urgency to learn, do, and speak the word. I have not been able to cope with the disparity of today's contrasts with the truth--it is great and sorrowful to witness (even as I have been on the other side of the truth).

Dear twcstp,
The road is difficult for many people. Even Paul had problems, and he spent 3 years in Arabia learning before his ministry took off. We have a tendency to look at others and see a happy, complete believer, doing well in their walk, while seemingly all that is going on around them. Our walk is unique to each of us. They are rarely what others actually see. We face trials and tribulations and for this reason I believe that fellowship is one of the more important things we should do in our walk. We can not do it alone even when we know we're not alone. Does that make sense to you?

Also, your thoughts are not something that will affect new converts in their walk negatively. In fact it will help. For you speak from the heart, and those who walk the path that we walk, will understand it when they read your words. However, I will do as you ask and delete it on the morrow.

Time will move as it must, and according to God's will, we watch it do so. Reconcile that we as a brother in Christ here has said "It's a tapestry that is being woven, of which we only see a part". Some, and it appears you are one, can almost feel the strands of time passing, and coming to a conclusion. So, the need to take in as much as possible, His Word, thereby being able to complete the task set before us to do, before such a time arrives that we might be ready can be difficult to know, considering all that surrounds us, day to day. Stay strong & faithful, while we await the day, which only the Father knows.

So, trying as it maybe, we know how it ends, and be comforted that it will be to our good and to the good of all who put there trust in the Lord.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

I have often thought about Esther and how her situation is getting closer and closer to the world today. Although the jews are still hated (evil spirits still from ancient days have never stopped hating the jews and seeking their destruction through the bending of wills of those in power), you can add in christians too to the same mix. Most christians want to be good sheep to whomever are in power, no matter evil or good. Soon many will be in a position of having to make such terrible choices, and many will chose wrong. When the time comes for me, I pray that I shirk not the duty to stand for the truth no matter what.

Indeed, the disparity is very great between righteousness and living.

I have witnessed world leaders: except a leader be a physician of the body (spirit), how then can the body operate? Also, it seems to me that the ship is very big..

If the body is a marketplace, what happens to the children, who, as we know it, are the most important?

The worlds body is not operating, it is breaking down more and more into chaos. Those children who listen to the voice of the one True Shepard will be fine, not fine in a physical sense, but fine in the true eternal sense.
