On the fourteenth day of the first month, the returned exiles kept the Passover. For the priests and the Levites had purified themselves together; all of them were clean. Ezra 6:19-20 ESV

As the exiles returned from Babylon, they were vigilant to reestablish their religious practices prescribed in the old covenant. To their credit, the priests were faithful to purify themselves, which could have taken anywhere from one to six days depending on the types of purification rituals they had to perform.

It’s easy to begin a new religious routine, isn’t it? You hear a sermon one Sunday, or you read something in a book that fires you up, so you promise to be more routine with your daily quiet time. But during that first or second day, you confess your sin and the Lord speaks to you about making amends with somebody, or some other sin, and the next day it feels more difficult to approach the Lord with zeal.

The beauty of the Christian life is that Jesus Christ has made you clean. The Lord will continue to call you to a life of purity, but you never have to worry about Him viewing you as unclean. You’ve been transformed by the blood of Christ.

Prayer: Lord, sometimes I count on my works to see myself as clean in Your sight. In reality, my purity was secured on the cross. Thank You!

John 13:10; Jesus *said to him, "He who has bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you."

"the Beautiful of the Christian life is that Jesus Christ has made you CLEAN [i wonder what that means?]. The Lord will Continue to call you to a life of purity. "BUT" you Never have to worry about Him Viewing you as Unclean. [OSAS?].
You're been Transformed by the blood of Christ. [How?]. "Those are questions"

because: if he looks at me as always as .clean. I can do anything I want to do, is that why the church is full of. "I am not going to say it... I will Gently and in a educated way: full of "Antinomianism" "love"
 I heard some "Christians say to me on many occasions: " Two clean sheets do not dirty one another"

But what does this mean?

Come out from them
and be separate,
says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing, [do this mean if you touch a unclean thing, will that make you unclean in Gods eyes?].????
and I will receive you.” d
18And,

“I will be a Father to you, .......................... [ And is this a "indicative" statement ? "And I will ". Just asking questions ].
and you will be my sons and daughters,
says the Lord Almighty.”

Hold on, hold on, I got one more question:eyes:

New International Version
"Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me."

Now that "Bible Word". "Remain in me". Does that mean: He can remain in you, but is it a possibility that you cannot remaind in Him but you should and if you don't, you cannot bear any Friuts what's so ever, because you Must Remain in the Vine? Now that's is question.

Ok, ok, ok, just one more question this is a short one:)

Here we go, If a person does not "Remain" in "The Vine" can They bring out The Teaching and proclaiming of The Witinessing and The Proclmation of Jesus Christ! Without Remaining in the Vine, unadulterated?

now you think, slow and pay attention to those words I presented, before you print, The Children of God, has to know the Truth. You know, we are held unto a higher Judgment! And God does not lie.

A simple 4-5 Question regarding your Thread. Directed at "Christ4Ever".

He views us as clean no matter what we do, can be a "paradox"

" And two clean sheets cannot dirty one another"

Oh how in my earlier years how true Christians in the "institutional church" has almost destroyed me, church after church have have almost torn my family apart, and God warn me to come out from among them in his word, The Word of God is so true, "Christians in the church" has been the worst people I ever met! I have been in. A motorcycle club, a highway Road Captain"! I had xperience more love in that Motorcycle Club than I have every had among "Christians" and I have testified to it in many of circles. That's another story! This journey has been a "Pilgrimage"

:p:p The stories that are going to be told around that "Ceremony Table":p And when "That Lamb Walks in". Hallelujah!

I would say the problem is how does God see us after coming to Christ and He is in us and we are in Him, and we sin again. The positions being either that we are not accountable for the sin, though our repentance is needed for this to be so, or it is still sin and though we have repented, we still carry sin and have been separated from the Body of Christ. There a myriad of different scenarios we can bring out in this instance, and one of them of course is the OSAS position. However, that is not the point of this devotional, which is to just point out to the believer the difficulty in attempting to maintain purity, and that in Christ Jesus, that is who God sees, despite our continued failings, during the process of change that we are undergoing.

As referenced from Isaiah at that time was Israeli to come out of Egypt, which of course they didn’t listen to God. The reference in 2 Corinthians, is to the Church in Corinth, and the idolatry that appears to have been occurring there. Can we then bring it to this day, and the moral decay that is occurring throughout the world? Yes, but then to where would be go, if the World (all that is around us) is in morally corrupt? One might be able to segment this into individual churches, countries etc., but I see this if putting it in the current state of affairs, that we must hold ourselves to be Spiritually pure, and separate from the things that would pollute us.

Very possible, but then is it then possible as I mentioned earlier to repent, and still be in Him? One would hope so. For I don’t see any of us as being perfect without sin, though there are some who believe to be in this perfect state without sin. Their reasoning being that they do not sin, or that sin is not held against them.

This must be taken into context of the entirety of Scripture, and can’t just be verse by verse driven. This subject has been bandied about TJ, and no consensus to it has come to date. At least not that I’m aware of. The follow-up to your question would be is: Can the person receive the Gospel and Christ Jesus from one who is in such a condition that you have mentioned?

I like the analogy of the two sheets, and my answer would be only when one of them gets dirty. But then when can a clean sheet ever clean a dirty one? Only if one of the sheets is Christ Jesus! That hopefully takes care of the paradox. :)

I am glad that you survived the quote “institutional church” influences brother. Not many do, and sadly continue in them.

I know I’ll be listening closely to those stories being told my brother! Hopefully, if I’m not being too bold; we’ll have some to tell as well! To the Glory of God my Brother!

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

1Co 5:9 I wrote a letter to you to tell you to stay away from people who commit sexual sins.
1Co 5:10 I didn't mean the people of this world who sin that way or who always want more and more. I didn't mean those who cheat or who worship statues of gods. In that case you would have to leave this world! (NIrV)

Ok, this iPad is getting a mind of it's own, rewriting portion of lines. It ihas been doing this a lot, My "MacBook Pro" cursor running wild, LOL! Afraid to take it for repairs, either fix it myself or buy a new one. Iphone I don't like to use it, fingers to big. So I hope this reply comes out in full intact.

I'm going to put this in a"child's language"! What, we have to do, is to get you so "matured in Christ", "Get you so high in that mountain", in a sense of "longevity" of unbroken fellowship with GOD through Jesus His Son, "Abiding in the Vine" and experiencing the "fruits" of that labor, and you have so acquainted with that kind of fellowship with the Father and The Son, in a constant "Walk"! So when you slip or stumble, "Yuk" you feel the pain of uncleanness, "the Grieving" of the Holy Spirit of God"! And you no not like it, and this feeling continues, for maybe a few days, of a presence of uncleanness. And when we stumble. We Hurry up "Repent" and Get up! Do not lay in the "Sin" which you have fallen into! Do Not Wallow in that Sin and say, it is No use. But get up! And wash your self continually with the word of God, by reading it, By "No Means, I say, No Means pick a "prescription verse" for sins. Just pick your "Bible up" and turn to a "book" in there and read it, and keep going to you finish! Until God cleans you up again! Then He brings you back into that room of unbroken Fellowship. The Father, The Son and "Holy Spirit". And You". You are kinda "Experiencing" that now, "Nicola-Jane". Remember from one mountain to the next, valley to the next!.

I am so ashamed, how "Christians" use "The Bible" as if it is a "Prescription Pad"! It hurts me, a pastor or another Christian Tear out a verse of "Scripture" and say: take this, this what I take! Every morning, noontime, and before you go to bed! " God bless you, I'm praying for! Then give you that "Smile" and a little hug!

PS " now if we were chosen before the foundations of the world, "you was in Christ then" now I know what the Truth is "Nicola-Jane", but I am going walk slowly and quietly and look both ways, "God loved you" and "Knew You" yes you before time existed. There are two types of "children" that was planted into this "World" a Good seed and a bad one, God planted one and the Devil planted the other one! "I knew you". Well, does Jesus knows everyone? In one place, Jesus told someone. "I NEVER KNEW YOU". "I Don'T KNOW You"! Then the "Big Cigar Smoking Preacher" Stood up, lean back, running his thumbs under His big bright red suspenders and "blasted out"! Hummmm, well, you see, you just don't. Understand, "we are all God's Children". And brother "PloughBoy" you are out of order! Ummmm! And you mean Bro. Mike could be, and "Sister Goodlooking with those big pretty fine legs, could be a Devil? PloughBoy replies: yes sir. Preacher: How dare you come to a conclusion like that,: we are all "Holy" up in here! "Please for give me for this type of unveiled Truth"

He love you and knew you before time existed, And "ordain" your "justification" before the foundation of this world I You are in "Christ before you were even "born again" before you were, "born from above"! And nothing can take you out of Gods or Christ's Hand, and nothing can "break the SEAL of GOD, which is the "Holy Spirit" and "Scripture" cannot be "Broken"!

21So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!

I was waiting on your reply.

thats a perfect word that came to me also

thats a perfect word that came to me also

5I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. c For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

Now recognize the truth that is in you! Now suppose that is a little critter, hiding , now do not get spook! But recognize truth! "Truth" deliverers!

Ok, learn about your self, in other words, after your new birth. you have actually two natures in you now, a natural one, a spiritual one. they are at war. pay attention, I will not broadcast this truth, you must learn it. So you will understand, other people as well. Then you will understand other "Scriptures" plainly. And it will make sense. This process! except truth! God is the one who is going to show you! But you have to except the Truth! about yourself, your natural self is not pretty! The word "Faith" is "Trust"! Now Trust the Truth, "The WORD oF GOD"! He is leading you! Stay away from that "Institutional Church". And you will learn about your family. Only In Him!
