Paul tells us that we are blessed with every blessing in heaven because we belong to Christ. Long ago, even before He made the world, God chose us to be His very own, through what Christ would do for us. He decided then to make us to be holy in His eyes, without a single fault, we who stand before Him covered with His love. His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into His own family by sending Jesus Christ to die for us. And He did this because He wanted to!-Ephesians 1:4-5.
I praise God daily for His wonderful kindness because I belong to His dearly loved Son. He loves me so much that He took away all my sins through the blood of His Son, by whom I am saved. He has showered down upon me the richness of His grace. He understands me and knows what is best for me at all times.
I pray for wisdom so I can clearly know more about Christ and all that He has done for me. I pray that God will continue to pour His light into my heart so I can see something of the future He has called me to share. I pray that I will understand more and more how great His power is to help me in all areas of my life. I pray that He will continue to use me and show me exciting, new ways to be a blessing to others. We are a people God has blessed!
Lord, remind us every day how blessed we are because we belong to You. Show us how to use the gifts, talents, and resources You've blessed us with, so we can be a blessing to others.
