Paul's Gospel and the Gospels

2 Timothy 3:16-17

16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is valuable for teaching the truth, All Scripture is God-breathed and is valuable for convicting of sin, All Scripture is God-breathed and is valuable for correcting faults and All Scripture is God-breathed and is valuable for training in right living; 17 thus anyone who belongs to God may be fully equipped for every good work.

No, I don't know that. What do you think the essential element of scripture is, consistency or being regarded as canonical?
Neither!
Ok...So, do you know that canon is a set of man made beliefs.. beliefs that are chosen arbitrarily by people. Canon does not necessarily reflect God, or His Word. Christians are, more and more, deciding what God means when He says something, instead of simply deciding that He means what He says as He said it. Theo...Scripture is what is written in the Book....It says it how God means it, and it does not need to be translated into how you choose to believe it. You need to believe it the way GOD says it....
I just posted a thread named..."The Great Apostasy Has Begun" You might want to listen to it a few times.

There are a great many people who think they are Christians because they recited a prayer....

Well, if scripture is inconsistent then how do you interpret "scripture cannot be broken" from the following verse?

If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
John 10:35

There was no ambiguity.
There is ambiguity because of Paul's focus on belief and the Messiah's focus on truth and knowledge.

For example:

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Acts 28:18

He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Isaiah 53:11

Try again with (Acts 28:18).

There was no ambiguity.
Here's another example of the ambiguity of faith and truth:

Psalms 91
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth [shall be thy] shield and buckler.

Ephesians 6
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

There was no ambiguity in my question to you. Did Jesus give Paul his gospel? There is no ambiguity in (Gal. 1:11-12) for the answer. The ambiguity is of your own making in an attempt to not look so ignorant.

There was no ambiguity in my question to you.
The ambiguity results from the context in which the question was made, i.e this forum deals with issues relating to Christianity, in which the Pauline focus on faith contrasts with the Messianic focus on truth or knowledge.

Gal 1:11-12 isn't the answer. You're cherry picking to suit your religious prejudice.

You use 'cherry pickin' like you use 'ambiguity'. Another way to cloak your ignorance of Scripture.

Did Jesus give Paul his gospel? Yes He did. As proven by (Gal. 1:11-12). "...For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ."

What did I say?

And you have moved from your ignorance to an area of falsifying Scripture.

What did I say?
I have no idea. Be more specific about your accusations. If you can't do that then is pretty obvious that your failed collateral attack was just an attempt to divert from the fact that you have no explanation for the origin of Paul's gospel.

Read again post [HASH=2162]#(56[/HASH]). What did I say?

Why ask for me to be specific when all you seek is ambiguity? My original question was specific. (Gal. 1:11-12) is specific in the answer. Yet all you can find is 'ambiguity' and 'cherry picking'. Thus you no longer are standing in ignorance but are denying the truth of Scripture.
