This seems to be a mistake where it says Jesus is “upholding all things by the WORD OF HIS POWER”. Should it not say instead Jesus is, “upholding all things by the POWER OF HIS WORD”?

Jesus is the “BRIGHTNESS” of God's “GLORY”, and the “EXACT IMAGE” of God! Jesus right now is “upholding” ALL things by the Word of his power. What does that mean? It means not only did God create all things through his Son (the Word of God) he is even upholding everything together those things that he created!!! In other words just because all things have been created by God, the things created still need God's power to keep them created!!!

How are all things being held together?

When we think of power, power is not just something that exists on its own. There must be a definition of that power that describes what it is, and or its purpose!! Nothing exists at anytime unless the Word describes it!!! All things were made (created) by the Word, and without the Word nothing would exist!!!

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
John 1:3 ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM; AND WITHOUT HIM WAS NOT ANY THING MADE THAT WAS MADE.

God has “power”, but what is the “power” of “power”? The Word of God is what releases the power of God!! The Word of God created all things, and by that same Word all things are being held together by the Word of it's power!!

How do we know God is eternal? Because the Word describes God as being without beginning, or end!
How do we know God is light? Because the Word describes God as being light!
How do we know God is love? Because the Word describes God as being love!
How do we know God is a consuming fire? Because the Word describes God as being a consuming fire!

Without the Word nothing word exist, because only the Word calls out the things to exist, and without that description which the Word describes nothing could or would exist!!

God exists because his Word describes his eternal existence, for God is the Word!!!! God could not exist without his Word describing his existence!!

Our very consciences would not exist unless God keeps his Word for our very existence whether physically or spiritually. Everything that has been made is totally dependent on God to keep it made!!

How much should we be thankful to God not just for our existence, but also for our continuing existence?

It is all because of the “WORD OF HIS POWER”!!!

Thanks for you observance brother.
If the Word did not exist, then God could not exist because God is the Word. The Word always describes who God is because Jesus (the Word) reveals who God is.
