Everyone faces difficult times but the choice is always yours to stay captive to discouragement or to rise above it. Learn that important steps like relying on godly counsel, establishing goals, and having a clear plan will encourage your spirit and spur you on to victory.
At the end of the sermon in which the three things to understand in chasing away those discouraging thoughts. They all go along with what scripture tells us. We just don't always tied them together.
Knowing God is with you: Joshua 1:9, Isaiah 41:10, Matthew 28:20
Knowing God is in control: Matthew 6:34, Matthew 19:26, Jeremiah 29:11
Knowing God is doing all things for your good: Romans 8:28, Philippians 4:19, 1 Timothy 4:4
These are comforting thoughts to have. Too often we focus on the isolated situation, a moment in time instead of focusing in on God by which we can rejoice in the knowledge that we are forgiven sinners through our Lord's Saving Grace!
Rejoice always; 17 pray without ceasing; 18 in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
This is truly a sermon worth much to everyone who would but hear and put into action.
Love you bro.
Blessings.
