Jesus Christ - the real truth.

Resurrection means we will have bodies, if we dont have bodies we could not be resurrected !! ;) the resurrected earth with new resurrected bodies is the entire hope for the Christian faith,
It is written in Ephesians 2 verse 6 - And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.

Also in Colossians 3 verse 1 - If then you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

I don't think I need a physical body for this my friend - definitely my spiritual body :-)

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that
spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
1 John 4:2-3 I think we can evaluate the OP from this.

just so I am clear, you do not believe we get new new glorified physical bodies ever??

Is that what "Resurrection" it means? Perhaps it simply means to bring back to Life. Everyone of us was born 'dead' spiritually because Adam and Eve were our parents several generations removed.

Jesus said, "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:" John 11:25

Jesus said that knowing that without Him, every man was dead and would remain so...

The key phrase here being "back to" life. That's what RE-surrection means. You can't be brought "back" to life,
if you were never alive in the first place. That is simply surrection.

In Matt 22:23-31 Jesus is specific about what the resurrection of dead means.
(Also Mark 12:33, Luke 20:33; etc... )

Also John 5:28-29 talks about the those in their graves coming back to a "resurrection" of life. (or a "resurrection" of judgment).

When Lazarus was dead, Martha told Jesus "I know he will rise again, in the resurrection of the last day".

Also Jesus himself was resurrected... was He ever spiritually dead?

Even the wicked will be resurrected ( Acts 24:15; John 5:28-29; )

Finally we have this concept of eternal life. Living forever... so if the resurrection is only a "spiritual awakening"
of the mortal body... the mortal body will still die.

I agree with you Dave - Amen.

In 1 John 4 verse 3 it is written that God expect from us to testify that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. No court of justice in the complete world will expect from you to testify in court of something or someone you have never seen. So if you think that a God that is far more justice and righteous than any court on earth, expect from you to confess that Jesus Christ came in physical flesh 2016 years ago, you are very very wrong. It is written in John 3 verse 27 that you can only accept something if it is revealed to you from heaven. Therefore Christ is Spirit - and the only way I can confess or testify that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is spiritually - meaning that Jesus Christ is the Son of deeds revealing in and through true believers. That is the only way that the word becomes flesh.

You confessed to me in this same message that Jesus Christ came in the flesh; only private, before you brought it to the open forum. Now, you deny Him again?
Just as the Holy Spirit teaches us, denying Him is the spirit of antichrist.
The devil knows the Word too; but the Holy Spirit teaches us ALL things and we recognize the cunning spirit that speaks.
If one will not confess Christ came in the flesh, he is anti-christ, he is none of HIS and we are not like minded. Very simple.

I believed without seeing and behold I see; I believed without hearing and behold I hear.

Yes Christ came in the flesh and He continues to come in the flesh body today, by way of His born again Spirit residing within those who believe upon His name; He is our mediator. Only because of Christ and His indwelling Spirit within the believer does God consider us. Amen.

I praise God for my Jesus. Amen
