Guess I will take a stab at this since no one else has..........
Why would you and especially in this day and age ever want to be anywhere or doing anything that God has not placed you in ? I mean I am working hard to make sure I am where God wants me to be each and every day. See I desire to live pleasing to Him and be ready at all times - for anything He may desire to bring my way.

Lets look at your OP - Lets use the man following after the blonde - Now if this man just simply had to be around this girl and devotes his time and energy going after her on his own - Well this man now has become to preocupied within himself and most likely - God will have to find some one else to do a task that was intended for the man to do.

Now he has the girl and they are over there and God wanted him some place else and her in some other place and now they both are missing what God had instored for them and bring upon them selves more problems and hastles then needed to be.

No - Put God First before everything - it is not easy and a learning progress - but never the less - just do it.

Good! Yet how many of us do something because it 'feels right' or because of some selfish reason...'I will do it because I want to' reason? We can get into so much trouble by doing it without talking to Father about it...

I read this once and it has stuck with me big time.
As We Walk Thee Paths that God Has Laid Out For Us - day by day our Directions Get Brighter and Clearer with Each Step.

That made me think along these lines.
How can we ever fulfill Gods Plan for our life if we do not seek Him on the choices we want to make ?
How can we become all God has desired us to be if we fail to include God in everything about us ?

I heard a pastor once say that the Lord told Him to think of it this way. God has a cut out form of what we would look like if we followed His plan - He said there will come a time when you will stand in front of this cut out and we will see how you measured up. God also said that everyone will stand in front of this cut out even if you missed His plan entirely.

That also opened up my eyes - I began to think - man if I stand in front of His cut out now it will look like two different people !! So from that point forward - I am working to make sure I can come as close as I can to His cut out of what His plan for me would look like.

I mean Bendito, that was one of those awakening moments to say the least !

You know why would any one want to be any place other then where the Lord wants them each and every moment of their lives ? I mean where He wants us is where we will find everything from Grace - Finances - Our Happy Place and our Provision is there waiting on us and so forth. When we are where He wants then - everything we need is already there waiting on us.

Far too many beleivers are stuck in this dead end religious belief that we do what ever we want and ask God to bless it - No sir it does not work that way - it never has and never will - the other strong hold the enemy has over the church is once we are born again then all of Gods promises automatically happen in our lives and if it does not wortk out for us then that was Gods will for us. Again no way brother - that is totally oposed to the written word of God and what Jesus did for us.

I know I am getting off track here but - ity is heavy in me and it does play a part in seeking God in everything we do. God said choose life or death blessing or cursing or another words - Choose His way or any other way out there. Now we choose His way we do inherit all of His promises - BUT - there is such thing as Kingdom law or the way things work in the kingdom of God. That is - we must actually do what His word says - live as His word says - seek His ways and understanding over mans idea's of things.

In Mark we find that when we stand praying - FORGIVE - if you have aught against any - so your Father which is in Heaven MAY forgive you your trespasses..........This is not a maybe thing or only if it is a little thing - No sir it is a right now and right then command of the Lord or Kingdom Law. It says so your Father in Heaven "MAY" forgive you your trespasses.....I see the word may and this tells me it is up to me and not God. If I want Him to then I must forgive.

His entire way of Life functions along this path - He has done His share already - we have to do things in the way he says they need to be done in order to "Release into our lives" what He has already done.

People wont walk in Love and wonder why their faith is not producing the results they want. Duh .....Faith wont work with out Love or forgiveness.

I know again I am going off track but to me - it all goes together like 3 powerful deep cycles wired together in the correct path to produce the results I want - 36V to run the motorguide.......I monkey with it because I think it should go this way or it really just needs to be hooked up like this - I wont get tyhe results I want and in many cases I will get my self a lot of trouble I did not need to have in my life. It is the same with Gods word.
You monkey with it and dwell by what you think - it simply is not going to produce the results you seek.

Ok - Ok - I will go make coffee or something - I left many scriptures out because it would have just lit my fuse and got me started. Sure would enjoy a thread allong these lines.

I love this question! It has driven me for months now. It has been my personal mission, as of late, to find out what the bible has to say about everything in life. Of course, I have not figured everything out, but the good LORD has been kind enough to forgive me and show me how he guides us by the light of his Word. It is astonishing. I pray everyone develop a personal relationship with God through his word and see the Light of the world.
