This passage comes from Colossians 2:6. It's a basic spiritual truth on how to walk in the spirit and get victories over the flesh, sin, and the devil. First let's break this down. The first part is as you have therefor recived Christ Jesus the lord. Now how did we recive Jesus? It's simple. Repenting and believing. So walk ye in Him. Now how do we walk in Jesus?this is simple also. By repenting of sin and believing what Jesus did on the cross was enough for you to over come that sin, and that will give the Holy Spirit the longitude and latitude to work and over come sin. This is also the only way the Holy Spirit will work in our lives. We do nothing on our part except believe because the bible say without faith it is impossible to please God. We will sin for the rest of our lives because we have the the sin nature in us to keep us humble and relying on God. This is a process wars are won in battles you can't get all you victories all at once and our victories aren't instant they take time. The devil will attack your faith because that's what got us in Jesus and our faith is what KEEPS US IN JESUS. Now, As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord walk ye in HIM!
