Busy single mum of 3 not finding time to meet other Christians

Hello Melanie,
I haven't posted here for a while, but would like to say welcome. There are some lovely people here who will share and help and just be a friend when you need it. I know how very busy you are with three children. I had three too! - all grown up now and presenting me with three grandchildren! Do you attend church where hopefully you can meet others? Do come back and tell us more about yourself. May God richly bless you in your precious role as a mother and keep you always. Yvonne

There is good online fellowship and ministry found here at Talk Jesus
Enjoy the forum!

Many churches have play groups for younger children and youth groups for older children.
If you google 'Christian Fellowship for mums in the UK' there is a vast range of fellowship to be found all over the UK within Christian fellowships and organisations.
You may find something in your area that you weren't aware of.

As a mum of 5, I know how constantly busy life can be. Set aside the start and the end of the day for the Lord...you will be richly blessed.

That you have time for even this post without falling asleep on the keyboard is amazing to me! Playing Mr. Mom with my two for a couple of years; years ago was taxing, but a joy that I now know was a blessing in disguise!

Glad, you've found this awesome community of Christians by which you will be able to laugh, cry, pray or just to pass the few minutes of the day that you might have.

I have recently moved away to provide a better life for my children 2 girls 18 and 15 yrs and a son 9 yrs .
I also work full time and don't get any time off at weekend and am constantly shattered , which does make it difficult to have energy left to meet people , I don't attend church at the moment but really want to , I am currently looking for a job to free up more time.
Saying all this I am very grateful to God for everything and don't like to complain as life is not meant to be easy all the time , I believe we go through more difficult times to make us stronger and I have also found I have become closer to God in the process.

Yep, you have your hands full and it is much tougher as a single Mom!
I love my three grandsons and so blessed that they each have two very active parents.

My son a good boy but the teenage girls are a real challenge, but all 3 are wonderful kids.
Nice that you have Grandchildren real blessing .
look forward to having them my self one day but my girls are still too young yet

Praise the Lord for your wonderful children!

I have five children, four girls and a boy. (14, 12, 4, 3 and 7 months)
I can relate to your teenage girls being a challenge.
My two oldest girls put me to the test a lot of the time.....well actually most of the time :confused:
I thank the Lord for His grace in helping me to deal with them
My son, like yours is a good boy too (but he's only 7 months old!) :)

I understand how difficult it can be to get out, especially with a busy working schedule and feeling shattered all the time.

But I also know that our Lord is good. And I trust that He will open up doors of opportunity for you to met and fellowship with other Christians.
What matters in life is Jesus and who we are in Him..putting Him first is the only way....and if that means giving up a job or moving......then you will be so richly blessed
