Job 2:6-7 King James Version (KJV)
6 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.
7 So went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

Job’s Blameless Behavior
7 Soe]'>[ Satan went out from Yahweh’s presence,g]'> and he inflicted Job with loathsome skin sores from the sole of his foot up to the crown of his head.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
6 The Lord had to give Satan the power, Satan can not do anything to us unless we are either of the worlds or the Lord allows him to do, God knows what is best often He allows Satan to harm us and send troubles our way so we can draw closer to Him. God has the power over life and death, Satan does not. Death is apart of the fall, God gave the punishment of the fall not Satan.
7 Satan attacked, Satan wants to make us unhappy. We being unhappy can distract us from serving God.
