Why does God send people to hell?

Dear Brother,
There are pre-existing threads in different forums, that when you find them, can be brought forward by adding another post. Finding them that you believe might be worth the effort, might take time to find. :) At the top of each page there is a "search forums" function that you look to for the finding of topics & even posters that would interest you. However, when searching it is easier to use singular words instead of multiple ones to have results displayed.

You are a little up there in age, which might create a different level of "Deep Seeking" then what others may be looking for. Being a spry (comfortable in a rocker) 69 years old myself, I find it difficult to imagine 88. lol

If you send me a Private Message (PM) I could probably guide you specific individuals who might be open to going deep into God's Word, within various degrees depending on the subject matter/topic.

Anyway, I hope you find what you are looking for brother.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

Thanks much-- Age is just a figure, or is it? Anyway, It caused Me to be able to learn much from It. That is, through The Spirit Of God. Be blessed. DeepSeeker

My sweetheart went home in February this year at 81 and I am 8 years your junior, and Yahovah is still teaching this old fossil.

In truth it's not about the room, but the individual threads that are created to discuss the varied subjects.
Each forum/room is set up by a general subject matter i.e. like this one "Questions about Christianity".
At times the threads that are started here, should be placed in another area/forum. When found, we as the staff try to relocate them to a more appropriate location. Even then some threads become so convoluted there is no telling where it should belong there are so forums it could be placed in since posters have diverted the thread from its original intent, which it no longer applies. Happens more often than I'd like, and to be honest I myself am a culprit too! :(

Anyway, don't judge the entirety of a room/forum by certain threads that don't fit the bill of the intended heading.

All, the best in presenting scripture. I have found doing so is easier said than done.

Reading some of the above comments on Hell; I ask this.
Why a place called Hell in the first place? Why not just a place called, Final Judgment? Or something else.
One of the problems with The Bible is that It does not include all available text pertaining to mankind and The Creators, The Eliohim. The Elohim being the Us of Genesis 1:1
An interesting statemen t made by Jesus Christ before His death is this: Give Me that which I had with You in the beginning. Let US create; of Genesis 1.
This story gets very deep when It is considered in depth! The Quran has some of the answers to This Story which are not mentioned in The Bible text Maybe King James did not want to present Those Writings?

For the Serious student, read the Quran, Surah 2. In it is given data about mankind and how They were put down here on This Earth. It was not until This Writer did that, was the whole truth understood.
This of course, is for the Reader for consider for themselves.
Blessings

No, no, no! The Quran is the ramblings of a pedophile maniac who was rejected by the Jews and the Christians when he presented himself as a modern day prophet over 600 years after the Christ.

Dose THE ELOHIM need to send One to Hell to get rid of Them? If The Elohim (God- The Us) does that, is He still a just God? Did Christ Jesus preach forgiveness? If He did not, then He was sent to Isreal for no reason.

From The FAUSSEET'S Dictionary the following is given. Gehenna is strickly the valley of Hinnom (Josh 15:8 -- Neh 11:20.
"The valley of the son of Hinnom. Josh 15 , Neh 11:30. That being the valley of dead bodies. That being: A place where Ahaz introduced the worship of Fire gods.
THIS shows how a lack of proper study has turned hell, into Hell !

Oh wait a minute God didn't send them to hell to get rid of them, he sent them to hell to be cast into the lake of fire.

I had rather be a deep doer
than a deep thinker.

No, it shows that whoever
wrote that has never been to hell.

Dear Sister Linda, @Moon888
I found a tissue in a Bible I just bought as a gift to someone in the ministry, which had a title of "Rise and fall of Satan". Here are few of the verses that were on it. Whether it helps or not I do not know.

And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Luke 10:18 NKJV

"How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [How] you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! 13 For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.' 15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit. 16 "Those who see you will gaze at you, [And] consider you, [saying]: '[Is] this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms, 17 Who made the world as a wilderness And destroyed its cities, [Who] did not open the house of his prisoners?' Isaiah 14:12-17 NKJV

And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Revelation 12:7-9 NKJV

Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, Hebrews 2:14 NKJV

He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8 NKJV

The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet [are]. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Revelation 20:10 NKJV

I was going to throw it away, but did not, and now I was reminded of it, and felt moved to share it here with you since you touched on the subject. I hope it helps.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

I would like some clarification on Eden ... the serpent was in the garden and deceived Eve ... so it would seem that God cast down satin and the fallen angels first, then made man and woman. God would have known that the serpent was going to challenge man and woman, and what that outcome would be. Could it be that God made man and woman to see whether they would obey (choose Him), like and experiment, and the rest panned out according to the Bible. I am stuck with this question in my mind ... was this "existence" of creating the earth, the birds, the sea, the animals, plants, and bees planned by God as a "project", and "experiment" (if you will), so that we could have a chance to improve and grow?

Bring all who claim me as their God, for I have made them for my glory. It was I who created them.'" Isaiah 43:7 NLT

for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see--such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. 17 He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. Colossians 1:16-17 NLT

For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10 NLT

In trying to answer your question at the end. I believe we were created to have a relationship with Him which you allude to. I think about God (Gen 3:8) walking in the Garden, where he had placed man. However, I also believe that in making His creation, He also wanted this relationship to be voluntary. So, for it to be so, man would have needed the ability to make choices, in a way that they could accept or reject Him and so conditions were made that allowed man to do so. Which you also allude to :)

I do not see it as a "project" or "experiment," because an assumption would imply that God is not Omniscient or in other words, all-knowing. How could it be an experiment if He knows the outcome unless He limited a part of Himself from this knowledge in the experiment instance that you mentioned?

However, I do see a project as a possibility but when considered in light of the purpose which I believe is for His Glory and is acceptable, while still being omniscient (fully knowing the results thereof).

It's been a while since I have given this much thought. I hope the above is not too confusing of a reply. Even though you pretty much had it thought out rightly. :) Which of course might not be how others see it! lol

God bless.

Are you not glad, that God cast all the children of the devil into hell?

What you have said brings a quote to mind:
If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.” ― Charles Spurgeon

“But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Jesus
