The Tribulation Isn’t What You Think — and Jesus Never Taught a Rapture Escape Plan

Faith only comes by hearing the Word of God. One might confess the Word without having any faith at all, but confessing the Word causes faith to come.

Just say you can’t refute a single word from my ironclad post, grounded line-by-line in the Gospel. It’ll save you time — and it’s at least honest.

You are actually just dodging and throwing accusations. You are not giving direct answers to direct questions.

I said earlier, lets go back to basics. It seems we disagree from the ground up.

You, @BAC and @Dave M are all not dealing with the same questions.

Let's first try agree on these two and then let's move on to OSAS / non-OSAS / works / faith.

Question 1.

1 A
- What exactly is a Christian and
1 B - what does scripture mean when it says we are new creations in 2 Cor 5:17?

2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Question 2.

How is Rom 10:9 compatible with Rev 14:9-11?

To avoid dancing and missing the point as I feel you are doing every time you reply, use the following analogy to make your case:

Let's say someone received the mark of the beast and live for another 5 years. During those five years, can they follow Rom 10:9 and be saved?

Rom 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

When a person leaves out the key word "if " then it becomes your own mouth as the authority

The loving commandment is not confess with your mouth. But if you have been born again then you can verify or confess Christ in us our Emanuel.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be are saved.

Romans 10:10 For with the ( new born again) heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto (verify) salvation.

John 20:26-28And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless,(no power) but believing.; And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

Thomas was not with the others when the Spirit of Christ's labor of love breathed new born again life.

The loving commandment from the Father given to the apostle Jesus. Be not faithless without power to believe the unseen father , but I comand you believe, believing. then Peter confessed a witness of the work of the Holy Spirit .

John20:21-22 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
;And when he (the invisible Father) had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost

Powerful words be not faithless. let there be power of Christ's labor of love

Hi Garee

You make some wonderful points, but not sure how this ties into the disagreement I am having with the others here.

We’ve already been through this and all your questions were answered in post #153, where your theology got nuked.

You keep quoting Romans 10:9 like it’s a magic spell, detached from repentance, obedience, and endurance, even though Scripture never separates them.

I gave you Paul, James, Jesus, and Revelation — all harmonized.
You gave me Scofield footnotes and a hypothetical that flat-out contradicts the Word of God.

You’re not “going back to basics.”
You’re just trying to reset the debate after getting exposed for preaching a gospel so cheap it couldn’t even save someone from bowing to the Beast.

The mark of the Beast isn’t a tattoo.
It’s spiritual allegiance.
And if someone takes it, they prove they never belonged to Christ to begin with (1 John 2:19).

You want a vending-machine gospel —
One where saying a few words overrides outright denial of Christ, worship of the Antichrist, and taking his mark.

That’s not grace.
That’s lawlessness.

Real faith doesn’t bow to the Beast.
Real faith endures.
And no, the thief on the cross didn’t take the mark — so stop comparing apples to nuclear fallout.

You can quote Romans 10:9 all day.
But unless you're willing to read everything else Paul, Jesus, and John wrote, you’re preaching a lie — one that leads souls to hell.

“But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.”
Galatians 1:8

Not to mention, not a single Apostle or early Church Father ever preached or believed a word of what you're typing.
The gospel you're defending was invented in the 1830s by John Nelson Darby and is nowhere in the Bible, the early Church, or the teachings of Jesus Christ.

ARE Those in Christ Jesus, Members of The Kingdom Of God, OR, The Kingdom Of Heaven? Which One determines what One believes!
DeepSeeker

As For The Tribulation. Who was it to be given To? Was It to be for all in all Ages, Or Just to Israel? Scripture states that It was for Isreal !
Rev 1:1 THE REVELATION of Jesus Christ ---- Which God gave TO HIM --- To show To HIS SERVANTS -- THINGS WHICH MUST SHRTLY COME TO PASS!
Are Those in Christ Jesus Today Servants? Did That Time already Pass? Or are
Those professing to be followers of God Today, Servants?
It is apparent that the answers to These questions; show that Revelation was for The Time Past!
Yet This Book continues to be taken ot of It's Time Zone!
WHY ?

It is apparent that the answers to These questions; show that Revelation was for The Time Past!
Yet This Book continues to be taken ot of It's Time Zone!

So... you think Satan has already been imprisoned for 1,000 years? When did this happen?
Satan and the beast have already been thrown into the Lake of Fire? When did that happen?
Jesus is ruling with a rod of iron and there are no other religions now? When did that happen?
Death has been been conquered and people no longer die? I guess I missed that on the news.
The old heaven and old earth have been done away way? We are on the new heaven and the new earth now?
The great white throne judgement has already happened? I must have missed it.

You mention Rev 1. But leave out Rev 2 and 3, which were written to Gentile churches. (Smyrna, Philadelphia, Ephesus, Laodecia, Sardis, etc...)

Who was it to be given To? Was It to be for all in all Ages, Or Just to Israel? Scripture states that It was for Isreal !

Where?

Rev 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven.
Rev 13:7 It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him.
Rev 13:8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain.

Rev 7:9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands;
Rev 7:10 and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb."
Rev 7:11 And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,
Rev 7:12 saying, "Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen."
Rev 7:13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?"
Rev 7:14 I said to him, "My lord, you know." And he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Matt 24:21 "For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will.

A lot of things worse than 70ad have happened in the world. Indeed worse things have happened to the Jews since 70ad.

Matt 24:29 "But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Matt 24:30 "And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory.
Matt 24:31 "And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

We’ve already been through this and all your questions were answered in post #153, where your theology got nuked.

You danced around question 2 by stating that you probably not a Christian if you get the mark. I had to get pedantic with the example as a result.

Dancing is not nuking, no.

I am trying to show you that your very foundation is flawed. You believe Christians need to endure the tribulation as you have a very unscriptural idea of what a Christian is.

The mark of the Beast isn’t a tattoo.
It’s spiritual allegiance.

It is physical mark.

And if someone takes it, they prove they never belonged to Christ to begin with (1 John 2:19).

More dancing. Can they still get saved according Rom 10:9?

You want a vending-machine gospel —
One where saying a few words overrides outright denial of Christ, worship of the Antichrist, and taking his mark.

Just further evidence that you have no clue as to what a Christian is or how relevant Rom 10:9 is.

Real faith doesn’t bow to the Beast.
Real faith endures.
And no, the thief on the cross didn’t take the mark — so stop comparing apples to nuclear fallout.

You missed the point made. Mentioning the thief was to show that he had no endurance and yet went to paradise.

You can quote Romans 10:9 all day.
But unless you're willing to read everything else Paul, Jesus, and John wrote, you’re preaching a lie — one that leads souls to hell.

Rom 10:9 is perhaps one of the most important verses in scripture. Much like John 3:16. It is also very applicable to the topic. So it will get mentioned a lot.

'"Everything else Paul / Jesus and John wrote'' = moving goal posts and dancing.

Now you just need to grasp that you are removing Rom 10:9 / Christianity 101 from your teaching.

--------------------

Very weak post. More dancing. You will get the odd like from a fellow non-OSAS believer, but they do not see your real intentions and misteaching as I do.

Your message denies the saving power of Jesus. Makes a mockery of Rom 10:9. And places Christianity in the same works base salvation camp with all other religions. Not grasping that scripture has actually never taught a works based salvation. OT or NT.

Your posts are just about keeping face and sounding witty over actually dealing with points made.

--------------------

Fact is that neither you or @BAC or @DaveM for some or other reason do not want to face the reality of the fact that no amount of confessing that Jesus is Lord and believing it in your heart helps you if you already have the mark of the beast.

That fact alone debunks the notion that Christians will be here in the tribulation. And if you disagree, you are calling God a liar as Rom 10:9 clearly says doing such will save you.

1 + 1 = 2.

Disagreeing with Rom 10:9 means that you are pushing a works based salvation and that is evil. Its a belief where you are the real hero.

KING J’S GOSPEL IS A LIE:

It disconnects salvation from repentance.

It turns Romans 10:9 into a vending machine.

It contradicts Revelation, Jesus, Paul, and the early Church.

It’s rooted in Darby, Scofield, and American evangelical delusion, not Scripture.

How does this happen to people you ask?????

1. They
(or their pastor) Were Discipled by Darby, Scofield, and American Easy-Beliefism
Let’s be clear: this doctrine didn’t come from Jesus Christ.
It came from:

John Nelson Darby (1830s) – invented the pre-trib rapture and divided Israel from the Church.
C.I. Scofield (1909) – inserted dispensationalist footnotes in Bibles, making them gospel to millions of lazy readers.
20th-century American evangelicalism – replaced discipleship with altar calls and sinners’ prayers.

They created a new religion where:
Just say a prayer.
Don’t worry about fruit.
Don’t fear falling away.
You’re saved forever no matter what.
Even if you bow to Satan himself.

Literally a theology designed by the children of the Devil to make sure as many lukewarm Christians fly into the gates of Hell as possible.

Because that’s what it is:
A gospel with no cross,
A faith with no cost,
A salvation with no obedience,
And a Jesus who doesn’t care if you bow to Satan — as long as you once said the magic verse.

This doctrine isn’t just wrong — it’s satanically engineered.
It’s the most efficient spiritual kill-switch ever invented:

Tell sinners they’re saved, no matter what,
so they never repent, never obey, and never fear God again.

And when they finally stand before Christ…
He’ll say: “Depart from Me — I never knew you.” (Matt. 7:23)

It’s a gospel forged in Hell to escort the lukewarm to their doom,
all while they clutch their Scofield Study Bible and whisper,

“But I believed Romans 10:9…"

This lie was mass marketed to seminaries from coast to coast and to every John Boy Walton in America in the 1920s (in the form of "FREE BIBLES!" they carpet bombed the American heartland with..) Entire denominations were built on it.

2. It Appeals to Fearful, Lazy, Flesh-Driven Religion

People like King J want a gospel that:
Costs nothing
Requires nothing
Never demands repentance
Lets them live how they want
And promises heaven anyway

Why? Because the real Gospel is terrifying to the flesh:
“Deny yourself.”
“Take up your cross.”
“If you love Me, obey Me.”
“He who endures to the end will be saved.”

They don’t want a king to serve.
They want a vending machine Jesus who gives eternal life with zero strings attached.

It’s spiritual cowardice disguised as faith.

3. They’re Brainwashed by a Culture of False Assurance

The modern church tells people:
“Don’t question your salvation.”
“Don’t doubt.”
“Once saved, always saved — no matter what.”
“If you ever feel convicted, it’s Satan attacking your assurance.”

So they treat any call to holiness, repentance, or perseverance as heresy.
To them, obedience = works salvation, and any warning about judgment is “evil.”

In reality?
They’ve been spiritually sedated by Satanic false teachers who turned grace into a license for sin — exactly what Jude 1:4 warned us about.

And the main architects of this spiritual nightmare weren’t just wolves in pulpits — they were global power players:

Scofield, the heretical lawyer-turned-pawn who stitched together a doctrine no apostle ever preached.
The Rockefellers and Rothschilds, who financed and distributed his lies.
And Oxford University Press, who printed millions of blasphemous, Scofield “Study” Bibles and launched them like theological napalm into 1920s America — for "free".

The result?

An entire generation of Christians raised not on the Gospel of Jesus Christ,
but on a weaponized theology designed to:

Divide Israel from the Church,
Replace repentance with verbal contracts,
Turn grace into spiritual anesthesia,
Get Christians to no longer believe the Body of Christ is Israel.
And produce pews full of lukewarm, rapture-obsessed drones
who are completely unprepared to endure,
and will fold like paper when the Beast arrives.

This wasn't an accident.
It was a planned demolition of the true Gospel, funded by those who hate Christ, engineered to flood the American church with false converts, carnal believers, and tribulation fodder.

They were discipled by Darby, not Jesus.
They want the benefits of salvation without the cost of discipleship.
They’ve been told obedience is “works-based salvation”.
They’re terrified of a gospel that demands endurance and loyalty.
And some of them may already be under strong delusion — the veil Paul spoke of — blinded because they refused to love the truth and so be saved (2 Thessalonians 2:10-11)..

It seems you just like typing. You misrepresent and falsely accuse me of 'vending machine' Christianity whilst I correctly accuse you of making a mockery of Rom 10:9 Christianity.

Read here for what I actually believe, if you still disagree, quote the OP and point you disagree with.

Then, this post was typed for people just like you.

-------------------------

If you do not agree with me I can only but assume you believe we must save ourselves. God is unable to judge us and Jesus unable to save us.

It is truly quite shocking when you realise that even on a Christian site you will find Christians that don't know what a Christian is. :)

KING J’S GOSPEL IS A LIE:

They created a new religion where:
Just say a prayer.

Lie. Quote me.

Don’t worry about fruit.

Fruit is a cart. Jesus / Rom 10:9 is the horse.

You teach cart before horse. That is on par with pagan beliefs. Not even the OT taught that.

Don’t fear falling away.

God will never leave nor forsake you Deut 31:8. If you are His, you are His.

God is not a man Num 23:19 that can't judge the depths of our hearts Jer 17:9-11.

The problem with opposing views to this are twofold:

1. You think God is a fool that does not know who His people are. He us unable to judge our hearts.

2. You do not hear or know God's voice and are seemingly incapable of true self assessment per 2 Cor 13:5. You want to be the real hero. You want to feel like you deserve heaven.

You’re saved forever no matter what.

This statement shows you don't know what saved means. If you can lose your salvation, imagine living for 50 millions with God and everyday worrying and afraid of a time that He will decide He has had enough of you and will send you to hell.

That my friend is a truly Mickey Mouse view of Christianity and evidence of having absolutely no clue who God is.

It is so important for a Christian to know what saved means and to know what a Christian is.

Even if you bow to Satan himself.

Wow, imagine that. Just when I thought you were tired of dancing.

I teach that true Christians will not be here in the tribulation. The saints we have in the tribulation will need to refuse the mark Rev 14:9-11 and endure torment and death Rev 2:10 to be saved.

You are the one that teaches Rom 10:9 is available to all in the tribulation. IE You thereby imply that either:

1. If one lives for five years after bowing to satan and getting his mark, they can still be saved by following Rom 10:9 or
2. God is completely lying to us in Rom 10:9.

Now God is not a man that lies, Num 23:19. This makes you either A. a false teacher or B. someone who is simply unable to connect the dots and refuses any help to do so.

why do you think theirs is a difference between to the two? I would say they are the same thing, just using different words. One may have been more geared to towards one ethnic group in language wise while the other pointed to another ethnic group possibly, but in the gospels they are referring to the same kingdom imo

Matthew 7:21

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

John 3:5

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Hi

I would offer. believers must be careful how they hear what they hear whom they say they hear.

The antichrists which is simply another teaching authority other than sola scriptura (all things written in the law and prophets)

Satan the spirit of lies insisting that dying mankind must teach and not the Holy Spirit that works in those yoked with Christ . (1 John 2)

Note. . . . Red invisible eternal

Note . . . .Green earth visible temporal

It's all one in the same kingdom. (Heaven not seen and earth the temporal seen.)

God reigns on earth (the temporal historical seen) from heaven. (the eternal not seen)

The living eternal word from heaven not seen faithfully works in these earthen dying bodies

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Isaiah 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

The metaphor Heaven with Earth is listed 219 times in various parables.

Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth,(temporal seen ) as it is in heaven.(eternal not seen)

Mathew 16:19 YLT and I will give to thee the keys of the reign of the heavens, and whatever thou mayest bind upon the earth shall be having been bound in the heavens, and whatever thou mayest loose upon the earth shall be having been loosed in the heavens.'

Acts 7:49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

The mixing or faith recipe below must be applied if a person desires to rightly divide or interpret parables.

Again, using the temporal historical things seen (earth) to give us the heavenly understanding of God not seen.

2 Corinthians 4:18; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

A good bible study principle a valuable recipe mix the two kingdoms

Perhaps all these comments come the lack of understanding on which
kingdom is what; and for Whom? 1-Kingdom Of Heaven, which was for Isreal Only. The Kingdom Of God, which is for This Age.
These Two, yet very different Kingdoms are generally overlooked. Yet, should not be!

You’re out here spouting Scofield’s heresy like it came down from Sinai, but you don’t even know who or what Israel is. You’ve bought into this schizophrenic kingdom chart nonsense where Jesus came to set up a “Jewish-only” Kingdom of Heaven — oops, they rejected it — so now we’re stuck in the “Church Age” with a second-string Kingdom of God until the Jewish converts in the Rothschild's False Israel™ decide they’re ready? That’s not theology — that’s fan fiction. The New Testament tells you exactly who Israel is: those who are in Christ (Gal. 3:29, Rom. 9:6-8). There is one olive tree, not two (Rom. 11). One flock, one Shepherd (John 10:16). And one Kingdom — ruled by a crucified King who reigns now. This two-kingdom garbage is the vomit of men who couldn’t reconcile prophecy with unbelief, so they created a fake future for a fake Israel and slapped Jesus’ name on it. Repent. You’re not dividing kingdoms — you’re dividing Christ.

KingJ, you’re the theological equivalent of a guy holding a Scofield Bible soaked in gasoline while screaming, “But John 3:16 says I’m fireproof!” You quote verses like magic spells, divorced from context, repentance, obedience, and the very warnings of the Lord you claim to serve.

You say I teach “cart before horse”? No — I teach fruit is the evidence of the root. You teach that once someone says a prayer or believes (in your Gnostic, mental-acknowledgment-only way), they're locked into heaven no matter what — even if they later deny Christ, worship the Beast, or live like hell.

“True Christians won’t be here in the Tribulation”
Ah yes, there it is — the Scofield ejector seat. You're not even building your theology off of Christ — you're building it off of a Hollywood escape fantasy invented by Darby in the 1830s and sold by Oxford University Press in the 1920s like theological fentanyl. You can’t reconcile a God who demands endurance with your fake promise of evacuation, so you create two Gospels, two peoples, and two Kingdoms. It’s not exegesis — it’s delusion.

“God knows who are His!”
Correct — and His sheep hear His voice and follow Him. (John 10:27) Not reject Him. Not bow to Satan. Not take the mark. Not live in willful rebellion while chanting Romans 10:9 like it’s a Get Out of Hell Free card. You treat the Bible like a slot machine and act shocked when someone calls you out for turning grace into lawlessness (Jude 1:4).

“If you can lose salvation…”
If? No — you forfeit it through unbelief and rebellion. That’s not me talking — it’s Jesus, Paul, Peter, John, Jude, and the author of Hebrews. Do you just cut out the warnings from your Bible?

“If you do not continue in His kindness, you will be cut off.” (Rom. 11:22)
“If we deny Him, He will deny us.” (2 Tim. 2:12)
“If we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice remains.” (Heb. 10:26)

“God is not a man that He should lie…”
Then stop lying about what He said. You quote John 3:16 like it's a shield, but you ignore John 3:36:
“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, for the wrath of God remains on him.”

Let me guess — that verse doesn’t fit the Scofield chart, so we pretend it doesn’t exist?

You say I believe God is a fool. No — I believe God is holy. And His Gospel isn't a vending machine where you insert Romans 10:9 and out pops heaven. It’s a call to DIE. To surrender. To endure. And to never deny Him — even unto death.

Meanwhile, you preach a false assurance so sugar-coated and gutless that Satan doesn’t even have to steal people — you’re handing them over gift-wrapped in Scofield notes and a fake guarantee.

So don’t posture like you’re defending grace. You’re defending an unholy counterfeit — a gospel without repentance, without obedience, and without the fear of God.

You don’t even know what Israel is.
You don’t know what the Kingdom is.
And tragically… you don’t seem to know what the Gospel is either.

Repent — or keep dancing straight into the judgment seat holding a Scofield Bible and whispering, “But I said the words…

Your comment seems to show lack of owledge for what I do know, and understand. If you wish; Yu can email Me for a deeper conversation!

One said: "You are dancing into the judgment seat with your comment. Wow! Have You that much understanding to judge another that way? Yu have no idea of what I may fully understand; or how many years I have sought through prayer sought out understanding of The Bible scriptures; as well as others.
BE careful. The judgment you uses shall be used for You !

THE BOOK OF REVELATION

How does It start??
The Revelation of Jesus Christ. How did He get? God gave It to HIM. Was It's Purpose? To show TO HIS SEVANTS --THINGS -- That MUST SHORTLY COME TO PASS.

Dose that mean Those Things are for the present age? HARDLY! Yet Today people keep tang what was written for Isreal, IN THAT AGE ; AND FORCING IT INTO THIS AGE!
Are believers Today a part of THOSE JEWS? Of course not ! Yet This Text keeps being taken out Its contexts!
What was For Isreal, and To Isreal; should be left that way! What About, There is no condemnation; for Those in Christ Jesus?

Notice it says: THOSE IN CHSTI JESUS! It does not say, Those in Jesus Christ. Why the difference? Jeus was Who? Who did Peter say Jesus was? What id Jesus say to Peter after He said It? What does the seedline in Matthew say about Jesus; who He was?
It would be interesting to see the comments about This.
