The Roman religion embraced by Catholics and Protestants invents explanations for John 3:7.
Because they have not been
So if you are drawn to Jesus, avoid the denominations.

David, When Nicodemus asked;" How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" Did Jesus tell him,"No I'm not talking about a literal rebirth", you got it all wrong.

John 3:7 "Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again."

so -- what do you mean by your comment. What explanations have been 'invented'. BTW - it's not correct to group RCC and Protestants together. They are at odds with each other. RCC is non-Biblical in it's teachings.

Catholics and Protestants and Orthodox are not at odds over this.

They all claim to have been born again.

Salvation is not based on denomination -- it Is based on where a person places their Faith / on the efficiency of the blood of Christ on the cross plus nothing.

A life lived doing wonderful good things does Not insure salvation.

Accepting Jesus Christ as personal Savior Does.

Just looked up Siddhartha Guatama -- the founder of Budhism -- follower of Budha -- that sort of answers that question -- why even bring his name up.

The same with Ghandi's life. What exactly Is your point?

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Would you mind explaining what you think being born again is?

God provides a person a direct subjective communion with Him, submerging a person in the Holy Spirit.

Catholics and Orthodox and Protestants have a make believe religion. They have no idea Jesus is real.

When you talk about Catholics, Orthodox and Protestants like this, you include me and most of my brothers and sisters in Christ. What you write is ignorant, offensive and untrue.

I know Catholics and Orthodox and Protestants are offended that I tell them they have invented a meaning for "born again" because they don't know what it means.
