Well Done Dreamer! - 06-06-06, 02:52 AM

Hi Dreamer,

You did well! 3 corrections though :) i.e no's 3,10,&13

3) Which New Testament writer was credited with these verses? "But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life." The correct answer is Jude.

This is from Jude 1:20-21. Jude, a brother of James, wrote this letter to warn Christians about false teachers and urges christians to keep their faith strong.

10) "The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest." This admonition came from whom? The correct answer is Jesus.

This comes from Mathew 9:37-38. Jesus had seen (see verse 36) that the people were scattered and desperate "like sheep having no shephard".

13) "Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God." This was a vision seen by which disciple? The correct answer is Stephen.

This comes from Acts 7:56. This is just before the religious leaders stone Stephen for his testimony of Jesus Christ. According to Acts 8:1 and Acts 22:20, Saul, who later becomes Paul, witnessed the stoning, and approved of it. Stephen was the first recorded martyr of Jesus.

God Bless
