I’ve been Christian nearly 4 months and I’ve been terrified over the unpardonable sin basically the whole time being Christian.

I’ve been dwelling on blasphemous thoughts the past week but terrible the last few days. Thoughts like demon and devil and demonic towards the holy spirt I’ve been terrified over the unpardonable sin and feeling condemned and depressed.

The fear has caused me to sin a lot like the past few days like (anger, sarcasm, pride and bitterness) Today my behaviour was TERRIBLE , I shouted and and talked back and I’m scared incase I’ve grieved the Holy Spirit away. I feel like I’ve lost him I haven’t confessed either...

The Holy Spirit gets grieved by outbursts of anger and bitterness and stuff. I know people who have lost the Holy Spirit and I’m worried because they want him back.

I also had a demonic s....l dream last night...

I love Jesus with all my heart and soul and want to seek him with all my heart.

I’m worried incase the Holy Spirit has left and incase God won’t hear me when I pray. I know I’ve opened doors to demons by sin and I’m scared of getting possessed or incase I am

I hope with all my heart and soul that I still belong to Jesus and that the Holy Spirit is still with me. It would mean everything to me to know I still have a chance with him and that he still loves me.
I’m scared incase I’ve lost God or incase the holy spirits left me or incase I’ve committed the unpardonable sin.

i haven’t confessed my sin yet and it feels as if God has left.

i hope I’m still his child

Please help

thanks.

In the few months since you've turned to Jesus, Have You found other Christians to talk, pray and worship with? These things are better talked out face to face with people you know than over the anonymous internet.

A good practice to help keep your thoughts balanced and healtjy priorities before God is to praycthe prayer Jesus taught in Matthew 6.

Pray it straight through, reading or reciting slowly, then go back over it and spend a short while on each phrase in turn. And then once through again to finish.

You say you have not confessed. Just speak to God directly.

Pray. Read the bible, even just a little. You can also listen to sermons online. I'd suggest you listen to Derek Prince. He has good sermons on how to fight demonic spirits.

Also, any chance you were involved in the occult? These demons do not just come in your life, If they are not invited in.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

I'll be praying for you.

Hey hello

it's hard to explain because so much information
Study these lessons take your time
The mind is like three levels of thinking, what you put in it like you imagination positive and negative, the second is what you are receiving again positive and negative, last is Satan transmitting negative thoughts, these are fiery darts of the wicked one, which from demon and devils

to Confess be calm study first, then find solitude train your mind under fire see Psalm 51: 17 you are not alone :)
the mouth confession is made for salvation, or salvation is calling out, but with my heart, not my mind, we read, For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
(Romans 10:10)

I need to believe, by faith, salvation is based on my eternal heart, a heart that is been afflicted from sins

Acts 13:22-23 (NKJV) And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, 'I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.'
From this man's seed, according to the promise, God raised up for Israel a Savior--Jesus—

A man after My own heart meaning rising up Christ, the heart is the key to salvation

We read Jeremiah 17:9 (NKJV) "The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?

So we see that heart is the key, as a child, I go to Christ for salvation, because my heart was deceitful

Jeremiah said I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.

test the mind because He can read your thoughts
Jeremiah 17: 10

Salvation is
I leave you with this Proverbs 24:12 (NKJV) If you say, "Surely we did not know this," Does not He who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, does He not know it? And will He not render to each man according to his deeds?

Christ said you know who I am, you knew of me I have your souls, and I knew you.

Salvation knowing, is showing my heart, is giving heart as a living sacrifice.

Romans 12:1 (NKJV) I beseech (implore) you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Afflicted heart

A broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart
(Psalm 51:17)

I may read all of this, this way?

Believe Confess your sins with all of your heart and let it be known your words so salvation can be attained, LOVE Is Your key

be saved
(Romans 10:9)

The heart shows your speech or words

This not just copying and pacing, but searching, studying, and hoping, knowledge is power

Isaiah 34:16 (KJV) Seek ye out of the book of the LORD and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth, it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.

First Corinthians 2:9-16 (NKJV) But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

For what man knows the things of a man except for the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.
For "who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

Confess with your mouth to be saved
(Romans 10:9)

A broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart-- These, O God, You will not despise.
(Psalm 51:17)

With the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
(Romans 10:10)

Beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!"
(Matthew 14:28-31)

Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him
(Matthew 14:28-31)

Being saved
(2 Corinthians 2:15)

Jesus cried out with a loud voice
(Matthew 27:46)

Christ cries out to His Father

Caitlin -- Today is Saturday -- how are you doing?
Hey ,
I’ve been having the blasphemous thoughts about the Holy Spirit constantly and dwelling on them out of obsession.
The past few days I’ve been complaining in my head all day and barley prayed at all.
I’ve spent most time on my phone in tiktok and useless things.
Last night I prayed to God and was able to pray for like 15 minutes, then my mind started thought things out of fear.
It’s half 6 pm for me now and I haven’t prayed today. I’ve spent most of today on my phone
I am doing better actually because I’m choosing to have faith.

sometimes I think he doesn’t want to hear me or I annoy him.
I’m choosing to trust in God that he knows my heart. I feel like he’s angry with me all the time which makes me avoid prayer...

I desire God with all my heart and want to be close to him. It’s just the fear of the unpardonable sin and doubts and fears but today I’m doing better
Thanks

God forgives all sins. There is no sin that is unpardonable at all. You do not say, if you were involved in the occult, or not? Even the Ouija board can open doors for demons, or unclean spirits. If I were you, I'd pray, and ask god for deliverance. I believe in the power of prayers. In some cases, it is good to have someone praying for you, or even laying hands on you.

Praying for you.

Hi Caitlin,

Just want to put my six eggs in here. You've been given lots of reassurance above and in a previous similar post, none of them saying that you have and all of them saying that you haven't but you still don't seem convinced and you're clinging onto this self condemnation.

You seem to be saying that you're having thoughts that are not from you and over which you have no control and you don't seem to be able take on Bible backed advice and reassurance. Can I please please urge you to get your mental health checked out, just in case there's a looming problem that early intervention could avoid?

It's not rational to flap and panic about blaspheming the Holy Spirit when by your own admission and confession, you love God and therefore the Holy Spirit.

To me it's clear that Satan is exploiting a problem to muddy your love, understanding and experience of God. Please get it sorted, make an appointment with your GP tomorrow. If you can explain to him or her that you're having irrational thoughts over which you have no control and fixations neither you nor others can seem to appease. They'll be able to refer to a mental health doctor who should be able to diagnose and set out a therapy or treatment programme.

God bless you Caitlain. I'm praying for you right now.

Blasphemy itself can be forgiven.

Matt 12:31; “Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is a very specific sin, it's almost impossible for a believer to do it. But the verse above says "any sin and blasphemy" can be forgiven.

I’ve been dwelling on blasphemous thoughts the past week but terrible the last few days. Thoughts like demon and devil and demonic towards the holy spirt I’ve been terrified over the unpardonable sin and feeling condemned and depressed.
This really isn't blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Several studies on this have been done on TalkJesus over the years.
Entire books have been written on this, I've read a number of them.

Some people above have mentioned this is likely Spiritual warfare. If you are a child of God demons have no hold over you.
It's easy for me to type this to you, hundreds of miles away... but trust me, I've been there. In fact you actually have authority over them.

Mark 16:17; These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;
Mark 16:18; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Caitlin, it seems to me that you have a problem much like one I experienced many years ago, and that is an "I" problem. Your heart is condemning you because your thoughts are focused on yourself; on things that you are doing, saying, and are thinking that the devil is using to convince you that you are blaspheming God.
Remember that God is not in the condemning business; He is in the forgiving business. Satan is working in your life to create the fear and confusion that your are experiencing.
You must train your mind to dwell on God; not on yourself. There is nothing good in any of us that makes us worthy of God's grace. We are all sinners who deserve the wrath of God in our lives, but by His grace God did something for us that we do not deserve. When Jesus died on the cross God placed all of our sin on Him, and when we come to faith in that message God forgives our sin and gives us His righteousness.
Jesus said that He came to save sinners. If you are you a sinner, then He came to save you. He paid the penalty for ALL of your sin. There is no sin that cannot be covered by the blood He shed on that cross. That is a deal that only a fool would turn down. The only sin that will condemn us to hell the sin of unbelief. When/if you believed the Gospel message then He took your sin and gave you His righteousness.
Train yourself to focus your thoughts on Him; not on you. Think about Jesus dying on the cross for you. Think about Jesus taking YOUR sin to the cross. Think about Jesus paying the penalty for YOUR sins; ALL of them. It is NOT about YOU; not about making yourself think the right thoughts; not about you saying the right words; not about having great faith. Just before He died on the cross Jesus said "It is finished." He was saying that His work to redeem us back to God is finished. Salvation is about Him. Think about Him; not about yourself.
My favorite Hymn is "It Is Well with My Soul," by Horatio G. Spaffrod, especially the third verse which I have listed below:

My sin, Oh the bliss of this glorious thought
My sin, not in part, but the whole
Is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord Oh my soul.

Perhaps you might dwell on that thought for awhile.

Regards,

John
