    Wanted to drop by and say hi - I am a new member on the forum. I have been a Christian since 1981 and have had my share of ups and downs as everyone has. I always appreciate any instruction and encouragement from brothers and sister in Christ. Hopefully I can make some good friends here, and imagine - these friendships last an eternity. Awesome promise indeed!

    Caution though, I do like to stir things up a little - my wife calls me a pot-stirrer at times. Heh - all done from love and the application of Proverbs 27:17 - "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."

    If I get out of line, a virtual slap to the head always works wonders. :)

    Welcome to the community misesfan. Great having you hear with us. We hope you find your stay both enjoyable and a great experience as you walk with Christ. And sure enough you'll make some lasting friendships on here. Blessingssssss in Christ

    P.S. We don't virtual slap, but if you wish for it then surely it can be done.:zip: With all hope that we won't have to resort to the virtual slap why not take a look at the forum rules, and of course join the chat :teeth:.

    Welcome misesfan,

    Peace be unto you,

    Stirring is a good thing sometimes. Glad to have you.

    II Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

    II Peter 1:13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;

    II Peter 3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

    Thank you very much for the awesome replies to my post. Its very much appreciated! I kid around sometimes, but I definitely try to be very respectful and use common sense. Isnt it interesting that basic manners and common sense need to be posted as rules on a forum for public discourse nowadays?
