God Saves Those With A Repentant Heart

For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.1 Corinthians 15:21-22, 1 Corinthians 15:45
Just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.
But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.
For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. Romans 5:12, Romans 5: 12, Romans 5: 17-19
Therefore, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God", Romans 3:23

After the fall of Adam and Eve, we have no choice, we are sinners and in need of a Savior. Other than Jesus sacrifice on the cross, there is only one thing left to recieve God's free gift of salvation and that is a true repentant heart. Why God is the only one who can save, is that he is the only one, other than ourselves, who truely knows our heart.
Being perfect is not the answer but truely repentant is. Once you are repentant, God gives you his grace in the form of a deposit of the Holy Spirit to live in you. Once Christ is in you, you are forgiven and not condemed for sin. Being repentant does not equate being sinless for their is no condemnation for those who are in Christ, Roman 8:1.
It means this, not the sins you see but those you don't, sometimes you may sin and, possibly, maybe won't even realize it. God forgives the repentant heart not the unrepentant willful sinner.
