I'm 19, but my youngest brother is a teen...
What he's most interested is the way others see him - especially friends. So teens are pretty easilly influenced by friends. Also, there's looks, fashion, beeing cool, showing off, impressing others, doing things your way...
One of the issues that he's struggling at this age is going to church. It's more like an obligation, than something he loves. And he doesn't like people knowing he's a christian![]()

I think that another issue that teenagers go through is dating and relationships, something like that. Peer pressure like sebi said.
From Underneath I wanted you To see the first thing I ever poured my heart into You’ll never know the pain that I’ve been through I’m not so sure you’ll ever know And so I’ll make you understand the words that built my life Were not from you, but from my father’s hand

ya, that's really nice of u to think about ur students and what they would like to talk about!
well, i'm 15 and i think we teenagers struggle a lot with our emotions (lots of up and downs, at least 4 the girls) and uh, i really think we should learn to lay our emotions at God's feet and ask him to take control, that was a hard but interesting lesson 4 me....
and another subject, just like the others said, standing ferm 4 what and who u believe in and 4 ur convictions, peer presure!!! that was a hard one to go through, but thank God, now i'm over these 2!
God bless u!

They are right about the emotions. All teens get bad feelings like they are doing wrong or feelings like depression or no one loves them. Most teens dont know that these feelings are natural. They really think they are bad or are doing wrong. So maybe that would be nice to talk about with them.

I find dating,
acceptance and rejection,
rebellion,
school,
friends,
appearance and reputation,
being "loved",
friend circles,
future and gossip to be many issues my friends come to me with.
Matt 6:33

But then there is also sex drugs and partying. But these topics are over talked about to them. They know the 'preach" on them. When dealing with such things rather come from an character and self respect point of view.
Matt 6:33

It is still difficult, teens can be preached to all you want, but they still dont listen. People in general dont seem to listen. MOST only learn from mistakes they make. This can be very hazardous for a teen but what can we do!!!!! Its redonk!
