What a nice story.
I like how you do write.
I'd like to share a dream i had a few years back.
It went like this.
First.. i could never understand the ways of our Lord...but this dream explained to me
just what Jesus is all about.
Then you let me know what you think of our Jesus...
I stood at the top of a long hill overlooking a small village. I heard a voice from Jesus
telling me to go to the small
store at the bottom of the hill, and meet him at the door.
Walking down the hill , I neared the
store and noticed the very cool air around me, and as I approched the
store entrance, i noticed to my right a small boy say 8 or 9 sitting on an old wooden bench, hugging himself to keep warm. His clothes were tattered..and he had no coat. I looked at him as Jesus smiled and coaxed me into the little village
store.
Inside the
store were many many fish hanging on stainless steel hooks. Small fish, medium fish and some rather large ones too. Jesus said : "Gather a fish for that small child that we saw as we came in." So I looked around and reasoned a small fish for such a small child..so I reached out for a small fish, but Jesus stopped my hand as i reached for it. He said: "No, gather this one." He smiled pleasingly as he pointed towards the largest fish in the
store. I gasped...reasoning that the boy was surely too small to carry a fish so large..let alone eat it..what a waste that would be.
But Jesus smiled at me and said.."Let us go now." So I walked with Jesus thru the
store, paid the owner several dollars for the fish, and he wrapped it in newspaper for me.
Jesus said: "Give to the child the fish, and ask nothing for its worth from him."
With a look of doubt, I obeyed Jesus as he kept a warm smile on His face , and handed the little child the great fish.
Looking up at me, the child's eyes quickly filled with tears, and he began to run with his gift from us.
I looked to Jesus with a perplexed look of bewilderment..and asked Him, well he not eat that whole fish Jesus?\ Jesus answered as he put his loving hand on my shoulder .
Jesus explained to me.. "You see, it is not only for the child to eat, but for his mother, his sister and sickly brother and his grand mother and grandfather to eat...Ye did not only give what was enough, but what was needed...Jesus said.. "That is how I bless my children."
What a wonderful savior we have..who looks beyond the needs of one...but blesses others , when we only see what is needed ..He feeds us all.
