Rules and Standard for Moderating

Moderating this site is so members here will be allowed to openly share Jesus Christ without the threat of evil conduct interfering with the ability to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a free environment. The goal of appointing 12 Moderators to Talk Jesus is both biblical in its responsibility, but also needed in the daily task of this web site. I understand & God willing, want to help here.

The reason for 12 now is so we as part of the 12 can have Godly counsel, and also stand under accountability to each other before the Father in Heaven. ...
This accountability includes equal parts in the task of Moderating Talk Jesus. As a Moderator, we all must put in the time needed to allow us all to have our times of rest & prayer/family/vacations/etc. Can you clarify what you mean?

Moderation of Talk Jesus is a ministry! It should be treated as such! This is a 24/7 Christian fellowship. It also needs to be tended to 24/7 by at least 1 or 2 moderators at all times. I understand. How is this cordinated?

to be a moderator.I beleive Jesus died for my sins and his blood cleanses all sin away.I beleive you have to be Born again to get into Heaven.I'm 30 yrs old.I visit TJ 2 to 3 times daily.I would want TJ to be a place where a lost soul could come and see how awsome God is and Jesus and get saved.I want to make sure that's what this website is all about,reaching lost souls and blessing the Christian souls.I would do my best to see it would be that way.Thanks and God Bless

I believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of the Living God. I believe that God became man in the form of Jesus Christ and died for the sins of the world and rose again. I believe that Jesus will once again return, sooner than we all realize. I am 30 years old and I live in the USA EST. My computer skills are pretty basic, I'm not a whiz or anything like that. I come to Talk Jesus every single day. Well, the past few months I haven't because of surgeries and stuff, but now that I am home and I am still sort of recovering, I spend pretty much hours at a time here. I consider this my church because right now I don't have a home church. I tried for years to find a safe haven to come to online for fellowship and fun with other believers online. It took nearly seven years. I believe that Talk Jesus is the first and only online christian community that is truly led by the Holy Spirit through Chad. As a member of Talk Jesus, I want TJ to become known world wide as online CHURCH that all who seek His face can come to and find what they are looking for. I have wanted to become more apart of Talk Jesus in some way but never knew how I could. Because I have ALOT of free time on my hands right now, I believe that being a moderator would keep my hands from being idle. Plus I believe that because Talk Jesus has blessed me in such a wonderfully great way, I should return the blessing by doing volunteering my time to make Talk Jesus an even better online community.

I believe that the Bible is God's Holy word and that we should treat it with the respect it deserves. I believe that God sent His only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for your sins and mine and that He rose from the grave 3 days later and is seated at the right hand of the Father. I believe that you need to ask Jesus into your heart and repent of your sins and be saved to gain eternal life. I also believe that we are to be fishers of men and should strive to bring others to the lord.

I am in Northeast Georgia which is in the eastern timezone.

I am very good with computers. I can figure out how to do most computer related issues but my main concern is reaching people through the website by directing them to God's Word.

I visit Talk Jesus many many times a day.

My views on this site are that I appreciate all the hard work that Chad is doing here for the Lord. I do feel that in some areas there could be more activity such as the Ladies area. I love coming to the site though and greeting new members and talking to others about the Lord.

I would like to be a moderator because I like to help others. At my church I am ladies leader for Reformers Unanimous, a faith based addictions program. I also teach K5 Sunday School. The Lord has really put a burden on my heart for others and everyday I learn over and over the true meaning of love...it means the willing sacrifical giving of ones self to others without the thought of return. I only want to do what glorifies the Lord.

Chad--this is the truth---I was outside a few minutes ago doing chores, hoping that the baby wouldn't wake up while I was outside. God impressed upon me that I should be doing more. He showed me how happy I am when I'm ministering to people, especially women.

Please consider this as an application. I am 46 years old and have been an active member of Southern Baptist for almost 16 years. I work in womens' jail ministry and preschool ministry at my church. I love the Lord and I have a heart for evangelism. For God wants that no one would perish, but that everyone would come to the knowledge of Him and take Christ as Savior and Lord.

Thank you for considering me. I spend a lot of time at talkJesus, because I love it here. I know that God has placed you at the helm of this ministry. No matter what anyone else says, they are not the ones that God placed this ministry upon. Sometimes my opinion does not line up exactly like yours in 100% of your posts, (as I am also sure that you don't agree 100% with my views). This does not matter-- because I know that you and I have Christ in common, and Jesus is everything.
