That propaganda line is both indefensible and demonstrative of prejudicial thought. Where are the facts to support such a view?
Having most of the USA watching them counts for something my friend.
Unlike the CBS (Communist News Network), NBC(National Barrack Channel) and etc they do not try to influence people to their point of view (except on publicly declared opinion shows) but instead do something all the networks used to do- report the news.
I can see form your writing that you really do not understand what they are doing and are just going on info form those Pravda type networks.
Of all the people with such attitudes I have talked with every one who was open minded and willing to examine the facts had to admit they were dead wrong.
But anyway, you have already made up your mind so I do not see the point of discussing this with you.

Muslims did not condemn the events of 9/11, blaming the West for these evil peoples actions.
Didn't Jesus say, " If you are not with me, then you are against me".
So all muslims are equally culpable by their allegiance. They did not condemn it so they, by default, condoned it.

The Imam in charge of this product ( Imam Feisal A. Rauf) has a rap sheet as long as my arm. He is also a noted slum lord and espouses extremist speech.
His leading organizer (Sharif El-Gamal,) owes $224,270.77 in back property tax on the site and his company faied to pay half it's bill for several months.
Clearly these are outstanding citizens and should desecrate the memory of the 9/11 holocaust. Naming the buikding in celebration of the slaughter of Jews and Christians in Cordoba is also a nice touch and a real sing of care and concern.

I was quite surprised reading through this forum topic. I am new here, recently reborn, and was hoping to gather a fresh new take on Christianity. I thought true children of Christ forgave, and didn't judge. Since when are the material objects of this earth great enough to cause hate, or "annoyance" or "insult" if that's what you want to call it? Are we not supposed to love all regardless? Did not Jesus say to forgive and keep forgiving no matter how many times? Do we pray for those that we think are wrong, or do we talk badly about them? I must say I am quite disappointed if this is what everyone has to offer. Offer your prayers for these people, not your judgment. Who are we to judge?

And P.S. I understand that people use ground zero as a grieving site and there is nothing anyone can do to heal their loss. Only God can do that. To those who lost loved ones and still look to this site, know that it is not but a piece of earth, an earth that doesn't belong to us I might add. And know, too, that your loved ones are in heaven, not ground zero. Look up instead of looking down.

My uncle died in that tragedy...I do not think his life, or anyone else's life in that
homicide was a 'material object'. These people killed many innocent lives, and
most do not feel guilty at all. And also, most are so wrapped up in their

I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. The material object I was referring to was the mosque. Also, I have a few questions for you. Who are "these people" that you are alluding to? And I just wonder if you have ever heard of persecution?

Jesus said to forgive no matter how horrifically someone has hurt you, no matter how many times they do it, He said to forgive and forgive and forgive... always. I suggest you read Matthew 18:21-35. God does not promise that our lives will be free from harm, but He does promise that He will never abandon us as long as we live according to His will, loving all unconditionally- even our enemies.

I hope you know that your uncle is in heaven and that no harm will come to him any longer- he is in God's hands now. And for you I will pray; I hope God will help to heal you and your family and work to soften your heart.

"Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written, 'It is mine to avenge, I will repay (Dt 32:35)', says the Lord. Hate and revenge are never good things, Alex, they will never "make it better". On the contrary, if you allow them to take root in your heart, they will poison your entire life. You will never know true love because love and hate cannot co-exist in a person - remember Jesus' admonition that we cannot serve two masters (see Mt 6:24).

The Mosque at Ground Zero proposal is a severe test of your committment to Christ, my friend. I pray you don't fail it by allowing hate and anger to consume you. To follow Jesus is to become a forgiver, Alex, forgiving all the time - not condoning the sin, but forgiving the sinner.
