Hmmmm... So Barack Obama thinks that having a child is a punishment?

“Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old,” he said. “I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby. I don’t want them punished with an STD at age 16, so it doesn’t make sense to not give them information.”

It seems that, by his standards, murdering babies is okay and fornication is okay. So what morals will he be teaching them?

I think, just as importantly, what will he allow schools to teach our children?
If he's that liberal with his children, what about children he doesn't love?
It's bad enough that the elementary school my children went to advised me of a 'maturation presentation' (sex talk) the day before it was supposed to be presented. It did not specify what it was they were going to talk about, it actually spoke about personal hygiene in the note. They said that parents could come and watch, but no time was given. And even though it did not specify what they were going to say, or what points of view they would present, parents had to show that they agreed their child could come by signing the paper.
Of course I did not sign. They seemed very sneaky about the whole thing. It's a pretty good school overall, but you have to be watchful over your children all the time.

The President of the United States does not YET have the dictatorial power you seem to think he has. I say "not YET" because I'm concerned what would happen if a liberal president (like Obama would be) had enough backing in our Congress to do what he wants to do.

Certainly, all hope of stopping abortion and same-sex marriage would be dashed during an Obama presidency.

I was suggesting that Obama, as president, would have the power to influence our children. With a liberal congress and a liberal president, who knows what might happen.
As for presidents dictating what happens in schools, remember that Bush was able to do that "No Child Left Behind" thing. There is some power in that position that affects our children.
