This is unbelievable. One thing though to keep in mind is that this so called township prosecutor is in a way acting the way apostle Paul acted prior to his conversion on the way to Damascus. Its nothing surprising, although definitely disturbing. The man is acting like a complete antichrist without a doubt.

Let's pray for the Father's will be done, which will include justice and hopefully repentance from the township prosecutor.

Wow! You're right, Chad, self-righteousness run riot. This is the sort of thing that we read of occuring in the Middle East, in Asia, and in South America.

Lord, we pray that justice would be served in this situation. We pray that pastor Combs and all the members of that church would rise up and shout "No!" into the ears of township officials.

I remember having a discussion with a preacher who believed that no music should be used in the worship of the Lord. I quoted the following:

1 Praise the LORD.
Praise God in His sanctuary;
praise Him in His mighty heavens.

2 Praise Him for His acts of power;
praise Him for His surpassing greatness.

3 Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise Him with the harp and lyre,

4 praise Him with tambourine and dancing,
praise Him with the strings and flute,

5 praise Him with the clash of cymbals,
praise Him with resounding cymbals.

6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD.

It's not the beat or rhythm that determines the worth of the music, it's the intent of the musician and the message of any lyrics.

If I'm not mistaken, a police oficer must place his hand on the Bible and swear an oath (to God) that he will uphold the constitution of the United States of America. Those police officers were in direct violation of that oath when they entered that church, for the Constitution protects freedom of assembly, freedom of religion, and freedom of speech.
Those officers need to take a stand against thier superior officers and refuse to break thier oath to uphold the Constitution.

Wow is all I can muster for this, the saddest part is, that I am not totally surprised by this ridicules act, what a sad day indeed. I pray that God's will be done in this situation.

The prosecutor should be happy that it wasn't King David dancing with abandon, (possibly naked) in front of the Ark and everyone...
Look what happened to David's first wife who scolded him- he left her presence forever and she was childless.
I hope this prosecutor realizes that freedom of religion also includes music with drums, bass, electric guitars, etc.
Question: Does he do this with rock concerts?
If not, sounds like favoritism at the least, conspiracy or worse.

Lord, soften his heart towards the freedoms You provide. Worshiping in spirit and in truth is what's important, not instruments that are played. Thank You for these young people who are willing to stand up and be counted, whatever the cost. Bless them, continue to unite them. Let them be seen as peacemakers in this time of conflict. At face value, it's an abuse of civil power for purely selfish reasons. The Police Chief would have a defense if the church in question had violated a noise bylaw. Do some reading on Senator Joe McCarthy. I like to think of it as Communist America.

This guy is an elected official in a township, which is usually a smaller political entity than a city, which means that rock concerts are probably not staged in a place that's under his jurisdiction.

It sounds as if he is trying to be a big duck in a small pond.
