Greetings Bro. I read your prayer request this morning and been praying for you and your parents with the above Scriptures. Even just this morning I received a prayer request from GFA having the same or exact prayer request as yours. The only difference is you are more detailed here.
May the above verses come true and manifest in your situation even as you will know and learn what is God's will in your situation. May the Lord indeed destroy all the evil plot devised against you and your family, and may God open soon a great door of opportunity for you for a new job. May God enable you to say in your heart God is your refuge and fortress in Him you will trust. If God is for you, then who can be against you? What man can do to you?
We as believers of the Lord Jesus Christ cannot avoid such opposition and persecutions from unbelievers and ungodly people especially from those who are hostile to the Gospel. But God has a command to us and a promise as well every time we experience such trials and persecutions because of our faith and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.
16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.
[c] Do not be conceited.
17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.
18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath,
for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”
[d] says the Lord. 20 On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty,
give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”[e]
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Matthew 5:10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Psalm 371 Do not fret because of those who are evil
or be envious of those who do wrong;
2 for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon die away.
3 Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
About your studies trust in the Lord brother, just do all you can in your study asking God's help always. As you will do your best, God will do the rest soon for you. I just remember of a brother's testimony in our church last year taking the licensure examination for architectural engineering. One month before the exam he had gone into a great depression that he cannot concentrate in his reviews. He even said he almost gone mad to the point he almost strike his motorcycle in a building one day he's going to the reviewing center. In spite of that he kept on, went also to a counseling to our pastor two times and prayed for him. Three days before the examination, he got sick and the more he was unable to review. He almost want to give up hope, yet still he took the examination surrendering to God whatever the result. On the release of the results, he almost can't believed it and he said he just cried and cried thanking God, because he just not pass the exam but one of the top tens ranking fifth in the entire country that year. Praise the Lord, glory to God. One of our nurses also in our church failed twice in the nurses examination, yet she does not just give up. God is still good because in spite of that she was able to got a job and on her third attempt, she finally passed the exam.
God is good brother, and He is always able and willing to do exceedingly beyond what we can think or ask for bro.
May these words encourage you and the Lord continue to minister to you as you stay with us here at TJ.
God bless you.
