Do liberal ideologies mix with Christianity?

Christians live to uncover in their minds and hearts truth and value more than unfettered expression and personal opinion. The two things might mesh for awhile in the neutral zone but eventually grounds for conflict will be reached by reason of their incompatibility and strife will develop. Politics is the forum of choice for liberals to express their opinion along with of course the arts. But it is the liberal in politics that is the danger for real Christians. Christians make very poor despots. Liberals on the other hand are excellent at it. Christians are sure to be persecuted by the highly opinionated and the platform we are most likely to be persecuted from will be a liberal one.

Don't look at this analysis as a lock stock and barrel assessment. The lines are actually a bit blurry and the neutral zone can be quite large but the substance of the character of both are real. So the short answer Liberals will always have difficulty with Evangelical Christians and will eventually persecute us if left unchecked.

Th9is is of coourse opf great importance but we must also be aware that all dictators though history (and now) insist on full authoprity and absolute immunity so be very careful NOT to support and defend goats (Matthew 25:31-46). Ask yourself ia any of these people are acrually doing the woirk of Christ or acting like He would have acted, because sadly many who call themselves "Christian" who are not (even those IIN the church - Matthew 25:1-13 - doing all the Churchianity stuff).

BTW I just today came across a book that I in fact have ordered about the history of The Pharisees and Saducees by Ken Johnson The Ancient Dead Sea Scrolls Calendar. Contained in it is the history of how they got off track and where and when. Their apostasy and the resulting reaction creating The Essene's sect that broke away from them. I'm just offering the information if you choose to explore it.

I haven't heard of that book, but I have studied the religious leaders of Israel before, during, and after Christ.

I find the 400 years of silence from the Scripture, (between Malachi and Matthew) to be interesting.

But that is not inspired reading, it's history. Many changes took place during that 400 years.

We know from the Scripture how and why that apostasy took place. It was a long time coming.

Most liberals that I have known like the world, but they want it to be their type of world and are not happy unless others give up their own version of what it might be and accept the other version.

Assume nothing.
Liberals typically believe that government is necessary to protect individuals from being harmed by others, but they also recognize that government itself can pose a threat to liberty.
*We know the government is NOT necessary to protect the individual but the country as a whole. That is their main problem in thinking It is "necessary" and needs to be MORE in control over us.
Liberals WHINE about the poor and problems of other countries but very FEW of them do anything about it HERE.
They believe and do things for attention.
They whine about "social justice" and expect and on some level want to force others to pay for fixing a "problem" when we had nothing to do with it.
As a White guy, I've zero interests in any of my taxes going to funding/helping inner city schools.
I can hear someone automatically going to whine "Racist!".
As one person, I have people I take care of and their needs will ALWAYS surpass that of random people.
They want us to just "give" money or pay more in taxes for "them" when nothing suggests I MUST do.
