Dave, why would Jesus send the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, if the written Word was all that was needed? The bible is the word of God, and Christ is the Word of God. But Christ had lots more words that were not written down as is written in scripture. Be like Christ who was One with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. Learn to be a friend to the Holy Spirit, learn Its voice, and understand its importance in every christians lives. There are other lying spirits out there, but those lying spirits will go against the Word of God, so that is how you know its a lying spirit. You will experience something that is not written in Scripture and there will be nowhere in scripture to fall back on them. Except for one thing to put your trust in the Lord.
It will happen after you refuse to take the mark of the beast. You will step out in faith alone. And a few days later you'll remember what I said here.

Pope Francis is a false prophet. He, like most ‘mega church’ pastors are leading the sheep into a great Free-Fall. Satan’s goal is to bring the entire world into his state of Free-Fall.
Free is short for Freedom. Satan looks for influential people who are able to sway the masses into following his doctrine of “Freedom”. The message is simple: everyone is free to do as they please without repercussion. We see how effective this message is in 2020 with endless groups of people World wide preaching and protesting their right to live and do as they please.
Fall is short for “Fallen State” . Humanity separated from God is the fallen state. They do not seek God nor do they hear his Voice. They simply follow their inner self which is rebellious due to the inherited sin nature of the fallen state. The inner state seeks pleasure and self gratification.
The whole world is in a great Free-Fall. The core doctrine of dark liberalism teaches freedom to do as you please, the elimination of right and wrong, lawlessness, to despise what is morally good, and to accept perversion.
In comparison, the core doctrine of light liberalism teaches that humanity can be free from sin and the curse of death if one surrenders to the King of kings and Prince of peace. This means a complete dependence on God and His Word.
We do not see anyone in the world spreading the message of light liberalism. We do see countless multitudes shouting the dark liberalism message. This is why United States and the world is so deeply divided. God and His Truth is being surprised while deception and delusion is being glorified.
The Catholic Church and countless Protestant Churches have abandoned the Light and are proclaiming Darkness in ever so subtle ways to deceive and misguide the sheeple. All one needs to do is read the Bible, specifically the New Testament, and the Truth will be known.

We are the clay and God molds us . The Bible molds us . But even though Gods imagination is in each one of us . Each of us ( unlike pottery ) have a will . We are alive in God . The Bible is Christ , the Corner Stone . We still have to build our own lives . We choose to follow the Word , daily . Moment by moment .
It is in these moments we grow in faith . There are some experiences you will not find in Scriptures . It does not mean they are not of God . Just because flying in a plane is not in Scripture , does not mean , not of God . What is found in Scripture is Trust in the Lord . So you can apply this to every situation .
Buying a car , trust in the Lord . Using a pocket watch , Trust in the Lord . Doing something the Lord tells you to do ( not found in scripture ) Trust in the Lord . Stepping out of the boat onto water , Trust in the Lord

I do not like the word “Liberalism” because of how it has been misused by political wolves, but the original meaning should not be abandoned. Martin Luther “liberated” the church followers away from the stronghold of the Catholic Church hierarchy, and in doing so, started the Protestant movement. I cannot say that the word “conservative” is any better because it too has been abused. Humanity always was and always will be a war between Light and Darkness, and everyone seeks the freedom to live according to their beliefs. Modern society is at war between Light liberalism and Dark liberalism.

I still have issues with the term " Liberalism " even as you have explained it .
" to assure unrestricted development " this is something that cannot happen in the Lord . To be unrestricted is to have no law whatsoever . And I assure you there are Laws in God's Word , that cannot be broken .
As far as the politics between Catholics and Protestants neither are innocent it would be folly to focus your attention on one or the other has both have failed throughout their histories .
The most important thing that both the Catholics and the Protestants have to do is seek to forgive and seek God's love between them as they are both God's children .

Pastors need to get away from this business about tithing and put your trust in the Lord alone . Tithing has nothing to do with monetary money tithing is all about giving from the heart .
