I have been on other forums where arguing and ignoring certain members was happenineg. At first I felt the Spirit there but, when all this occured I got out. I want to learn about Christ not argue about Him. I can do that here.

I believe too, that I was led to talkJesus. It has a beautiful and simple format. My only reservation is that sometimes too miuch intellectualism concerning the Word of God is used. I love to hear simple replies from the heart. There are so many wonderful people online at talkJesus. I love to hear Jesus speaking through them. I will say a prayer right now, that talkJesus remains simple and not ever warring with the Word of God. Let none of us be ashamed.

To me warring with the Word of GOD is just as bad as warring directly with GOD. Its senseless, fruitless and hopeless. It is not Christlike so I can tell you warring about the Word is not going to happen here. I hold great responsibility to what takes place here and I'm not putting my relationship with GOD in jeopardy by laying back while people debate. One of my personal motto for Talk Jesus forums is "this is not a debate forum". In other words, the Word is Truth and it speaks for itself. There is no debating about it :)

Our Lord Jesus cares
i had never been in a chat room. One day i was bored and i wanted to see what happened in a chat room. I went to a christain chat room and met a member. They told me to check out Talk Jesus. That i did.
How can you get to know someone typing messages on a computer?
A question i often asked myself.
The one thing in common that i have had with my friends is that i can see them. Here i can only see someone if they post a picture.
It was a good lesson for me. I met Vagabond and enjoyed talking to him daily. I started to wonder about Vagabonds life, what was it like living on his farm in his part of the world?
I met Uknowme and immediately experienced the warmth of Uknowme's kind personality.
Another person had issues that needed to prayed about. My friends and i started to pray for this persons situation and communicating with them.
We live in Australia and they are in the UK. Yet our Lord is working through key boards. Awesome.
I met Mara. I cant remember whom started talking to whom.
Mara changed my whole outlook on chat rooms. We became friends. Though we had never seen each other or had never been in the same vicinity as each other. Our time zones were compatible as we live only 750klm apart and are in the same country. I would log into Talk Jesus and there would be Mara.
A friendship built. Mara would sit wrapped in a blanket late a night typing away. We got to know each other really well. I just had no idea that could happen through typing messages.
Over time we started to share with each other, the ups and downs in our lives. Pastoral care for each other.
Mara was often very cheeky and brought lots of laughter into my life Our Lord used our friendship in both our lives. Incredible.
I friendship loved a person Mara, a person that i had never met in person. I was praying daily for Mara's concerns. God is amazing how he works, he blessed my life with Mara's friendship.The timing of Mara's friendship was perfect in my life.
The business of Life moves people on. Mara and i havent talked for a long time. One day i recieved a message from Mara that said "catch you in eternity one day" And tears came.
Our Lord Jesus has used Talk Jesus to bless me through my dear friend Mara. Thanks Mara for being you for Jesus. Merry CHRISTmas to you Mara

I voted yes because discovering this site was really a divine connection. The posts here are sometimes thought provoking, inspiring and empowering. I usually don't mind when there is difference of opinion here. We are all different, we are at different levels in GOD and have different purposes. We will never always see things the same as others.

The greatest thing we can do is listen to people's different opinions and then instead of getting defensive, listen to what they have to say and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you anything in what the person said that can be helpful to you. I found people who are defensive have problems of pride and have been deceived in thinking their point of view is always right.

Patience is a GODLY character and we should pursue it at all times even when dealing with different opinions. But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. 1 Tim 6:11

uhh,I feel to concentrated reading the posts that I don't feel anything.

I haven't been a member very long, but I voted YES. I do feel that I found this site (by the Holy Spirit) because of a sincere desire to fellowship with other true believers. While here I do feel the presence of the Lord. I realize that not all who come here are of God, but rather are brought here by the devil. Actually, the fact that the devil comes here is evidence that something Godly is taking place. Otherwise, he wouldn't bother to try to create problems. I thank God for TalkJesus and I pray that He will continue to allow this site to grow and to be a blessing to all who come here seeking Jesus.

Each time we have had revivals at church and the Spirit was palpable, the devil always made his presence known. He just can't stand it. But praise God, he has been defeated and has NO power over those of us who trust in Jesus.

I am surely confident that it's the Holy Spirit Himself who ushered me here in TJ. A wonderful part of God's plan in molding my new Christian life in Him... A challenging part of His purpose to use me mightily and not just to remain a mediocre or bland Christian in a new horizon of Faith in Jesus.

I was in my affliction and Distress when God sent me here. I was inspired of the various testimonies of different brethren from different parts of the world. How God moved and intervened in each one of us just to show us His boundless love. How awesome!

As I visit here everyday, my joy in serving the Lord is restored, revived, enflamed.... Hallelujah!

Yes, not "always" we may feel the presence of the Holy Spirit , simply because we're still in this imperfect world, 'sins" as mentioned by Chad, etc... That's why I agree better pray before posting or typing a message.

If mood or spirit is not right, I suggest better observe quietness while silently reading the forums, joining the chat rooms or much enjoyable if you would spend some time for awhile in arcade for different games to play, hehehe.

I like the rules here in TJ. They preserve the respect and integrity of the website.

I don't post often and sometimes get to busy to come in and even say hello. But today is the first day of the rest of my life and I will be here more. I joined here to learn more about Christ and to meet Christian friends.
I belonged to another Christian forum as I said before, I am truly glad no debating is allowed here. Like was said above in one of the posts, we are all at different levels in our walk, so our opinions will differ. But, that is ok because we are all part of the body, we are not all hands, nor feet, nor eyes, but different parts, thus we each have a different part to do to serve the King of King and Lord of Lords.
I too have met some very wonderful people online, people that I have not laid eyes on, but our hearts are one. We have daily prayer meetings and it is awesome.
Chad you have a woderful site here and I will become a daily fixture here,.

I do feel the presence of God here in Talk Jesus. Talk Jesus has been a real blessing to me. I grew mentally and spiritually stable especially after I joined here. The best place I love here in Talk Jesus is the Bible study hall. The Bible study hall has inspired me to study the bible deeply.

I love Talk Jesus especially for the family and friendly like environment, the testimonies the members share, and I love the fact that Talk Jesus doesn't encourage criticizing other men and women of God.
