Thumbs up Do you have to believe in the Trinity to be saved ?

Do you have to believe in the Trinity to be saved ?

I'm doing a study and curious to what others think especially those outside the Western world. Hoping to get a diverse response from people from different backgrounds and culture. Please no debating just need everyone's vote and their answer to the poll question only. Refrain yourself please from debating other people's answers even if it's different to yours.

Use only biblical terms found in scripture.
Do not use modern terms and follow it with scripture.

It's not mandatory to write a response your vote counts.
Open to everyone, be honest with your answers no need to be a scholar. The point of the study is to get honest individual answers based on your understanding at this time in your life. If the knowledge was given to you by a pastor this should be included. Something you grew up to believe the truth please state. List all resources people, theology books etc.

    Thank you
    God bless

Boy.. only 1 day to vote from when the poll is opened.
I believe you have to believe in the right God to be saved. I believe you have to believe in the right Jesus also.
There are a lot of people out there who believe in "a" God of some type, or even "a" Jesus of some type.
But if you don't believe in the God of the Bible (which includes all parts of him) you are believing in the wrong God.

God looks more on the heart of man rather than doctrinal differences. And Oneness believers still accept Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour, which is salvation at its core anyway.

Yes because as all three were in creation Gen.1. All 3 are necessary for salvation. All 3 have distinct jobs, so to speak. God the Father, Jesus the Savior and Reedemer and the Holy Spirit the Counselor. All 3 for working for our salvation. GOD IS AWESOME?

I voted yes because in order to be saved you have to believe in what Jesus did. You have to believe that He was fully man and also fully God and He died for the sins of the world and resurrected on the third day. If one therefore believes in the cross, it is hard to deny that Jesus is God. If a person accepts that Jesus is God, then they clearly cannot deny that when Jesus talks about "His Father" in the bible, He was also talking about God. Reading the bible, if a person accepts that Jesus is God and God the father is God, then they cannot deny that Jesus, the son and God the father are one. Like Jesus says in John 10:30 "I and my Father are one" If a person then says that Jesus is not God or Jesus, God the father and the Holy Spirit are three different gods, then I don't know what kind of Christian they are(honestly). Also in the book of genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." The word "us" is plural for "me", if there was only God the father, then He would have said "let ME make man in MY own image and likeness..." Hence we have God the Father, God the Son(Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit(the spirit of God). If we human beings can have a mind, body and soul/spirit and these all belong to us...why can't God the creator of the heavens and the earth and everything within and without, not have three entities of Him that are ALL Him(if He likes He can have a million, He is God). I always believed in the trinity, it was not necessarily taught to me...but I just did. And in recent years, i've started understanding why I believe.

I believe most people called on Jesus for salvation without much knowledge of the Bible. Hunger for word of God followed my salvation.

what rockerduck say is what i would say too. If you meet Jesus as your savior the understanding of how God fully is like remains mystery until the day we see him face to face but you know God. in the mean time trinity and all the theology may just be non-vital schematics and often even man made theology. the word trinity isn't in bible. it's used in attemb to understand God's appearances in the bible.
