Fellowship, a chance to share the Word, an opportunity to encourage and exhort the Body of Christ, an opportunity to sow faith, an opportunity to pray for the sick, to learn from others and meet believers from around the globe.
How about you friend, what is your reason?
Psa 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

The forum is entitled 'talkjesus' That was the attraction for me a while back.

Lets talk about Jesus, the King of Kings is He.
The Lord of Lords supreme, throughtout eternity
The great 'I am the Way, the Truth the Life the Door'
Lets talk about Jesus more and more.

The attraction is talking about the LOrd..........As I understand it...this is the 'King Pin' the 'Anchor' the 'Main Theme'......The pride of man may be seen......as in all walks of life....but we defend the faith of Jesus
Jesus said "I am the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE"......Without the WAY there is no GOING, without the TRUTH there is no KNOWING without the LIFE there is no LIVING....

Me? I'm not sure, to tell you the truth. At first it was to learn. To be around others and listen and give out what I was processing. I guess, an opportunity to write my scattered ideas into hopefully intelligable paragraphs. A way to sort.

I haven't been around much lately, though. I'm finding that I'm fine on my own for the most part, and I have been developing alot of new relationships in the church that fulfill those needs.

I've been studying like a hound, and don't really feel the need to talk about it much anymore. Not like I was anyway. I think I've come over the newby hump. I'm still new, but my foundation is set. I have a confidence now that the Holy Spirit is with me and Jesus is guiding me, I'm not so unsure about things. And that's why I was here.

So I guess, when I come online now, it will be more about fellowship.

I can understand that. We all have different callings and functions within the body, this draws us to many different "outlets" of expression with those gifts.

I have been walking with the Lord as long as I can remember so it is not a newbie thing for me. I really get blessed when I can bless others.

All the reasons you give are good reasons, and vital for you to be here

I'm retired with failing health, very little money, and way too much time on my hands. I'm in several Christian Web sites and joined 4 more today. It gives me something to do, and I would much rather communicate with Christians since I have nothing in common with unbelievers--especially their foul language.
