The Ring On bended knee I once asked thee To be my bride forever. Through thick & thin, good & bad, We have grown together. As a symbol of my Love for you, It’s something I did not hinder. I gave you a ring filled with Love, And placed it on your finger. Distant Shores Set adrift from shore at night, A new home, faith in sight. Distant shores await in tow, The seas will rise to and fro’. Will shake their faith as a mighty wind Turned inward believing sinned. Questioned dreams as driftwood flows, Come together from ancient blows. Heartfelt desires caught in strife, Reverb the feelings of a tested life. The resolute will stand as three entwined, Held together by the ties that bind. Again believing the future they saw, Standing strong beheld with awe. Reflections come when home grounds made, Cherished the thoughts of memories saved. Truth upheld in goals affront, Never wavered in the hunt. Victories sweet for path’s set sure, Beckoned the call from His allure. Again we follow the new set goal, You’ve touched the Lips singed with coal. Ready to start another duel, Fed with love, the righteous fuel. A Virtuous Woman I love each moment, every hour, every day in every way. Indeed it’s true my Love for you is free to flow for you to see and all to know. You are my perfect wife - whose name brings birds to cheep, so gentle her words lay reason to weep; soothing for a restless mind. Loves Compelling Power The language of love are words unspoken, It isn’t hurt it isn’t broken. Love isn’t vile, it doesn’t beguile, Love walks with you that extra mile. Love builds strength in your heart, Love will never tear it apart. Love is rich, love is kind, Love’s mercy keeps you in mind. Love endures and lasts forever, Love’s not cruel, it will never. Love is a salve to the soul, Love is what makes a body whole. Love reaches out in time of need, Love isn’t ruthless, love isn’t greed. Love isn’t spiteful, love isn’t lust, Love is worthy of the one’s trust. Love is plentiful, love is more, Love isn’t closed it’s an open door. Love is wealthy, love won’t hide, Love doesn’t leave you behind. Love beckons you and calls your name, Love asks are you really lame? Love isn’t boastful, love isn’t loud, Love rejoices in the heavens abound. Love isn’t wasteful, love isn’t loss, Love was complete on the cross. | ||||||||||||
