Culluna, I was in a bible book store yesterday. I run the book fair for my kids school and we go through a local christian book store. Anyway when I was there, I happen to see Stormie wrote a book called the Power of a Praying Kid. I need to put that on my must buy list. Looked like something we need to look into.

In all my prayers I don't think I have added my 3 children.

Lord I lift all these children to you and know Lord that You are in control of our children and You have given them to us for a season. Lord we know that You will give us what it takes to help them know You. Lord take away any stoney hearts and make them hearts of flesh that they may recieve You. For Your Son came to heal the broken hearted.

Lord heal the sick among us. Your Word says by His strips we are healed. That our children are made whole by Your touch, in Jesus name I pray.

Thank You Coconut for your care and prayer for our children. I have two sons that both desperately need your prayer. Their names are Lance and Cody. Please pray that their hearts will be softened toward the Lord and they will be able to see that HE is real, and he is their everpresent help and that he loves them more than anyone else ever could. Pray they will see the error of their ways and ask for forgiveness and to be saved.I pray they will be saved soon. Thank you to all who will pray for these.

I have been really loving the responses to this thread started by Coconut, so I went back to the first post.

And the whisper of the elderly lady (109 years old!!!)
"We need to help the young ones........temptations, so many temptations." just reminded me of how many temptations that my sons, our children face everyday, especially in our schools and we are not there to watch over them. But our heavenly Father can watch over them and we can continue in our prayer for them to be protected.

Lord I bring all these children to you. Jesus I ask you to give us guidance and wisdom when it comes to teaching our children, that you give us the right words to speak and show us how to act as parents to reflect Your love Jesus.
Help us to be the Godly moms and dads You want us to be.
Lord we ask you that when our children are faced with temptation that you give them the courage and strength to walk away, to run in the opposite direction and Lord always provide a way to escape from it. Lord Jesus soften the hearts of our unsaved Lord reach the hearts of our teenagers , open their eyes Lord so they can see what the world has to offer is just temporary gratification, but your love is the total satisfaction. Jesus deliver our children from evil, steer them from alcohol, drugs, pornography, cheating in school exams, lying, violence, hate. Jesus keep the ones who know you to keep their hearts from straying, that they see the destruction of what sin does and confirms that your way is the only way.
Lord send young believers amongst our schools so they can help the lost, Jesus give them the courage to speak up for what is right, Lord help them not to be timid or afraid to express their love for you and share with fellow school friends. I ask you in your Holy name.Thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus for hearing our prayers, you are Lord Jesus.praise you God.

I'm sorry I can't be more specific, but I want to Praise the Lord for a massive breakthrough in a situation involving some of my kids that you have been praying for. Thank you all for praying - keep on praying.

Thank You Jesus for all our break throughs no matter how big or how small. We parise You and give You glory.

Lord Jesus as our list is getting longer I know all of these children are just as important to You and that You know each and every need. Soften hearts and put laborers in their path. Heal them body, mind and spirit. Make them whole Lord that they may serve You all the days of their lives.

Isobel Maria Owen - 10 months

She was a healthy baby in the womb but stopped breathing during her birth. It was a miracle she was resuscitated but she needs 24 hour care. Her young parents David and Anna have had to give up work to look after her and only get respite when she is taken to the local children's hospice. Isoblel's grandparents work hard to support their children (David and Anna) with Isobel.

There was a tiny bit of good news for Isobel because she may be able to see and her legs are beginning to work after much manipulation and devotion by her family but she is still in constant pain and is fed through her stomach.

Isobel needs relief from pain and her parents and grandparents need strength (emotional, physical and spiritual).

Thank you for any prayers offered for all this family.

Can I list Brandon's brother and sisters (who are not my children or step-children - they have the same Mom, but not the same dad?) If so, Cassie, Johnathon, and Britany. I am really worried about all of them.

Most certainly, Bridget! Anyone can ask for prayer for anyone at anytime.

I like to pray by name but know that I do not need to.

Lord, let every child named here see you, and let them hear your voice, and we trust you to search until you find every straying son or daughter and bring them back into your fold! Keep all these children under the wings of your protection, right down to little Isobel Maria (Lord please touch her little body with your healing virtue) in Jesus almighty name!
