Greetings everyone. I'm new. I work nights and I've been depressed lately and a few days ago it got so bad that I googled 'Jesus help me' and this site came up. A few years ago I was on top of the world. Succesful career in law enforcement, friends, house, kids. Well I went through a bad divorce and my ex wife made many false allegations against me. Needless to say I had to resign, move out of state because my rep was ruined and lost my house and now have minimal contact with my kids. I'm at my wits end. I have a few law enforcement jobs I am curently applying for. A few on the west coast where my family is. I pray God grants me that new opportunity so I can rebuild my life and reach out to my kids. I am remarried to a great woman but my situation is really straining our relationship. Please pray for me.

Dear Lord,
We come before you now lifting your child Section8kffk up in prayer to you. Right now he is suffering from depression and his world seems so out of control right now Lord, but we know you are in total control and can renew him and open a new chapter in his life. So it is with faith we lift him up now knowing that you Lord are beginning a new chapter in this person's life and that you will deliver him from the depression that has come upon him as of lately. We know that there are many blessings instore for him Lord but he has been hurt deeply and needs you to mend the broken heart within and to take any anger from him and we ask that you help him forgive those that have hurt him. It may take time but through You we know this is possible. Be with his children gaurd and protect them in all ways Lord. We ask that you strength his marriage and help he and his wife to be there for each other in this and all situations they may encounter in the future. We also lift up his quest for a job right now to you Lord knowing that you have the perfect job for Him and in your timing it will come. We come before you asking all this in the name of our Mighty Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen!

I'm sorry to hear of your issues brother. Remember this, God is greater than ANY circumstances. Feel free to pm me of you want to talk. I have relating similar issues to s certain degree at least.

Sorry to hear of the struggle you are going through! You are in my prayers. God has unlimited ways in which He can help us and make things right. He can make good of bad situations, He can make rivers flow though deserts. God bless you!

Forget about all those needs you're focused on. Seek the Kingdom of God first, and all those things will be added unto you.

When people (that's you) sincerely seek God, He requires that they turn from their sin. This is called repentance. God wants people to utilize their freewill to be willing to be changed by Him. Then, He will work miracles in your heart and in your life to deliver you from all your troubles.

Start a serious prayer relationship, if you haven't already. Ask Him to show you what sins are in your life you need to turn away from. When His Holy Spirit comes into your heart to convict you, turn from that sin. If it seems hard, don't worry. Continue turning from that sin and continue praying for Jesus to give you the strength to overcome it. He is faithful, and in His time He will break the bondage of that sin.

Pray to be baptized with His Holy Spirit. It will empower you to overcome sin in your life, He will guide you to make good decisions, He will comfort you and encourage you, and He will make you zealous to get into prayer and study of His word daily. If you're sincerely seeking Him, He will baptize you with His Spirit.

Then, stay close to Jesus every day. Watch the miracles He works in your heart and in your life as He restores you and blesses you and gets you straightened out in life. He has a ministry for you, don't forget His plans for you. They're the path to life. Always acknowledge Him, and He will guide your steps.

I have 'friends' but no real Christians I can talk to whom share my beliefs in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I will deffinetly get in the word and I found a church I hope to attend this Sunday. It is hard to kick against the pricks

First welcome section8kffk!! First allow me please to address this as a child, then as an adult. I have no doubt, that you are very good at your job! My dad was a cop for almost 24 years. He was an ex marine, and was a detective.

But his family life was very bad. He was a dad,who could never admit he was wrong. Even when he was wrong. His words used to both my mother and us kids were always, why are you all the way you are? You should be more like me! No one in our house could ever please him.

An to him,there was no one more important! When he finally passed away,just about the time my mother was going to divorce him,we as children could understand why. NOW!! I am not saying that you are in any way like him!! NEVER!! I have known many good fine decent men who have been in law enforcement.

However I do not know a single one of them,that do not have issues at home either. When you go out for 8 hours a day at least 5 days a week, and have to put up with some of the things you do put up with!! How could one just shut off work? If a child or a mother gets a sorry attitude,one usually thinks to the stupidity of there workplace,and then has little tolerance at home as well.

But as you have found out,home is just as much, if not more of a job then the job you get paid for. My dad wanted the Lord until he was making good money,then he had little use for the Lord.He did not need him. But he needed him far more then he ever could have believed.

When my family was not doing good money wise,we were doing very good family wise,we went to Church every Sunday, dad would never miss! But after the money started to roll in a bit,well God was put away.And with God being put away, so was the rest of our family.

Since I do not know you whatsoever,I sure am not judging you in any way! But you came here to here some truth. That is why the Lord brought you to us. We all here have weakness,we all need each other here,that is why we are here.To encourage,to lift up!

Now as an adult. God loves you,he always has,but you are no child anymore either. The Word says it rains on the just and the unjust,meaning the same problems happen to both those who love the Lord,and those who may not be as close to the Lord as they should be.( 1 peter 3:7-12)

If you have not been much of a bible reader,please start. I found I myself could not ever change until I had some knowledge. And knowledge as we both know do us little good unless we put that knowledge into action in our own lives. I had to look at me! What am I doing wrong? Where am I falling? I know me fail??

To have understanding for others,we must first look deep within ourselves to have some understanding for ourselves. For can we give to another when we ourselves have so much lack? You did not come here to be preached to,so I sure do not wish to do this!

All I wish to do,is to get you to do something I myself had to learn!2 Cor 13:5 Change can only come,when we ourselves seek to change. Just a thought my brother,not a rebuke! I sure will be praying for you.And I hope that your are presently doing very well in your new home,with your new wife.

All I am saying is that perhaps,just perhaps,if you are seeing the same problem now,as in the past,perhaps you need to look where I did.Could it be me?? I found it was me. So I got very busy in God's Word to allow the Lord to do so rearranging in me! I am glad I did so!

Took a lot longer then I wished it to,but that was because I was very hard headed,I am a Vietnam Veteran as well. So to some degree I understand the pains of change even as you are facing. Do not feel bad!! Just understand you,so then you can then understand another better.

When you get the time please read 6 chapters of 2 tim. These chapters were written for a Soldier,as well as for anyone who is in any kind of authority such as yourself. This my brother in Christ is what is expected of us,from us,and yes by us! I hope you have been greatly encouraged!! Blessing to both you and your family!
