Hello, I am a new member here. I wanted to say hello. This is my Introduction.
I am a shy person. And I am needing direction in my life. I am a lost sheep trying to find my way back to the herd. I believe I wondered off the path in 2000. After three losses in my life that where back to back. And being the age that I was I lashed out. And in July 2010 I suffered a miscarriage. And didn't know where to turn. Then my 2nd cousin gave me a bible and I started to attend church with her and her family I was being fed the word. And I thought I was on the right path. But again I lashed out. I couldn't tell you if it was from guilt of my actions and me being ashamed. Or I was angry with God. I want God back in my life. I am doing what I can to get him there. Which I know he has never left me. Tonight I finished the book of Genesis (took me 2 days) But I did it. And plan on starting on Exodus in the morning.
That is alittle about me.
And again I close this by saying:

Hi,Jeepgirl, welcome back to the fold ( and to Talk Jesus) !!
I, too, wandered off the path, for over 2 years, after some heartbreaks in my life, but even when we're unfaithful, God isn't. His love is so amazing and He always knows how to find His sheep, even when we feel like we're so lost that how can we ever find our way back. If you ever have questions or struggles, PM me any time, as I know where you're coming from. God bless you!
Welcome to the community Jeepgirl Glad to have you here with us. Hope you find all the support you need and hope you enjoy your stay. Blessings in Christ
“Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4:angel-animated:
Thank you so much I will keep that in mind Peace Seeker.
Thank you Giggles4God I am reading the old than move to new. So far I have learned so much. I dont understand why I have let my bible collect dust all these years.

Welcome Jeepgirl, I'm glad you're here. Try not to fret about the time your Bible spent sitting unopened. Salvation is both an event and a process. You're a work in progress and you're right on schedule, God's schedule. GFG's advice to start with the New Testament is good. That's where you'll learn about Jesus.

I want to be a coin in God's pocket that He can spend any way He wishes.

Thanks for the exhortations, they encourage me to be patient and wait on the Lord. His will be done, His way and on His schedule, not mine.
Hello Jeepgirl, welcome to TJ.
Don't worry about straying from the path, we have all strayed from time to time. Just spend the time now looking forward to what God has in store for you and seeking Him in anyway you can.
The Bible is our life manual and if you search deep you will find many wonderful nuggets of instruction for your life.
A good start on the pathway back is to maybe do a set biblestudy or reading plan. They can be found on the internet on many Christian sites. Please feel free to PM me for information or just to share.
May your return to the Lord's path be paved with many blessings.
