I feel a little awkward, since there's another Christina right below my post. lol. But, my name is Christina.

to avoid confusion, call me sparrow.

I am a new christian. I was raised pentecostal/non-denominational but left church and God when I was twelve.

I converted to paganism. I was a heavy practitioner of witchcraft and the occult. I've studied various religions. After all these years, I realize I had been seduced by the enemy.

I don't want to be looked down upon. I've joined the forum to find people who care about Jesus and his message in the gospel from our Father. I came to Christ about two weeks ago on Nov. 11 2011.

It's honestly hard to think about the things I've done and just how grateful I am that Jesus Christ and God have forgiven me.

I'm currently working on an information website/blog, aimed at young adults who might get lost wandering down the same pathways I did. I'd like to share it when I finish it.

My first favorite verse in the bible is 1 Chronicles 16:11 "seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually"

This verse has been my prayer daily since starting my walk with God. I can only hope to grow and learn more as I live and breathe each day.

My second favorite verse is Psalms 118:8 "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."

These are two verses I try to live by daily.
So that's my introduction.

Thank you for sharing your New Birthday In Jesus Christ. NO ONE will look down on you. Just the very testomony of your salvation is awesome. My prayer will be that the Lord will direct and watch over you, just as He has for those who have walked a little bit longer with Hom. Each of us has met Jesus Christ in His unique way of reaching us. The Holy Spirit is in you and no demon or enen the evil one can ever take Jesus Christ away from us....EVER!!!!!

Welcome to TJ, Sparrow, and more importantly, welcome to the family of God. I'd love to say that here at TalkJesus you'll be insulated from attack, but I can't because our enemy the devil is peristent and sneaky and he hates to lose. But you will find love and support here.
