Hi,
I'm Plinshree. I'm really bad at making introductory posts.
I've been voted most likely to become the crazy cat lady and I guess that pretty much sums me up. The more I'm around people the more I appreciate my cats and my very small, but closely knit circle of friends.
I'm no stranger to Christianity but I struggle with it. To be honest all I see around me are Churches being run like businesses instead of ministries, and I won't even get started about the people I find there. or some of the things I've seen go on in these places.
I think I'm just looking for a place with genuine believers that I could, perhaps, learn from as I go.
I'm not the type you can stick in a neat little box with a neat little label. Anyway, hoping to get to know you through your posts and such.
Please don't blame God for the problems in Christianity.
I agree with you about many modern churches.
Oh no, I don't blame God. I feel badly that His Public Relations team sucks so badly sometimes. I think we will get on fine, Agua. Looking forward to some of that fellowship you mentioned. -Plinshree

Welcome, Plinshree. It is indeed unfortunate (to the point of being disastrous)that many churches have taken to using marketing gimmicks instead of doing what Jesus did when He was on earth. He fed the hungry, healed the sick, clothed the naked and people flocked to Him - no gimmicks necessary. That's the stuff the church is supposed to be doing.

I want to be a coin in God's pocket that He can spend any way He wishes.
