- Born and raised in Texas. Served 6 years in the U.S. Army (1995-2001). Came to Arizona in 2001. Been married to the same, wonderful man for 15 years now.
I'm a recovering alcoholic (weekend binge drinker) and have accepted Jesus Christ into my life in 2004. I owe God for my sobriety and well-being. - Country

- I accepted Jesus Christ and God into my life in Sept. 2004, it was the first time I had ever been to church since I was a little girl. The night before I was in a drinking binge (bar hopping) and was feeling really lousy and guilty, the next day, of what I had done. So, I went to church and attended 2 services that day (for 4 hours all together!). I got baptized in the 2nd one and cried like you never seen me cry before. It was amazing. I still have my struggles with alcoholism (relapsed at least 5 times since). I now almost have a month of sobriety and will stay that way through God, my husband, & exercise. Great life now. Over 2 months sober now....

- Found a great Christian yoga DVD that I have already ordered and waiting for it to arrive. And doing Christian workout DVD's also. Wonderful! It gets better each time....God bless....

- Mostly just any movie that I have or go rent. Mostly classics or movies that are over 5 years old...LOL!

- Just starting reading the Book of Psalms as my daily devotional reading. Exercising everyday. Staying sober. And finding my way back to church again.
- Weekend Plans
- Husband & I went to Phoenix to spend the day today (Sunday). We ate at our favorite restaurant (Village Inn) this morning and went shopping. Great day. But we'll move it to Monday's so I can go back to church again.
- Current Book
- The Bible (everyday, a chapter a day). Also, "Staying Sober Without AA" (great book so far).
- Dream Vacation
- Florida. Hopefully moving there in 2012. Been there at least 5 times since 1999. I love it there the best.
- Words of Inspiration
- Just be yourself, go to church, pray everyday, don't drink or do drugs, exercise, and live anonymously (only be around really good friends and family).
