- Was in the military stationed in Germany and while living in the barracks someone invited my roommate and me to church. It was a revival! I was in the back of the church listening to what was being said. The call/pull was too strong to resist (am I glad I didn't :-) I went and kneeled and asked my Lord Jesus into my heart. With tears running down my face, an emptiness a darkness that I didn't even realize that was in me, filled with a brightness that brought me a peace/fulfillment that I had never know before. Prior to this I had grown up going to just about every denomination possible. My mom wanted me to know Jesus. Yet until that night in Germany I never did. I thank God that He chose me!

Aaahhhhh.............I cry out in pain because the difficulty in behaving like this is that my initial reaction is to strike out at the one across from me or to strike at the very words being spoken by them. Take no prisoners so to speak...Yet the positive nature of the below teaching is evident, in my very own life!...Still, each time when presented with a situation like this, it's as if it were the very first time it has happened.....so difficult to not strike out, to right an injustice, a perceived...

Knowing our Lord when in the garden of Gethsemane before being taken away prayed as seen in Mark 14:36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things [are] possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.” made me realize that in prayer, bringing it before God, whatever it may be, that ultimately I would need to trust God’s perfect will in whatever it was, which initially in my growing and changing life, was not always easy to accept since my own desires I...

Just to contemplate the below abbreviated sermon is awesome. How much is enough?
Thank-you Lord for picking me!

We may also learn that the humblest and most timid faith in Jesus Christ will save. It is a grand thing to believe in Jesus Christ with all your heart, and soul, and strength; it is delightful never to doubt, but to go from strength to strength until...

Awesome read from a Berean Daily I thought I'd share. Reminds us of who we should be mindful of always and that depending on our own understanding can be hazardous.
Proverbs 3:5-6
(5) Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
(6) In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
"Lean on" is used here in the sense of relying upon or trusting someone or something for help...

Should make some take a gut check or should I say reassess how we are living under God's Grace.
Many are content with the shells of religion, whereas it is the kernel only which can feed the soul. The bended knee is nothing, the prostrate heart is everything; the uplifted eye is nothing, the glance of the soul towards God is acceptable. The hearing of good words and the repeating of them in prayer or in song, will amount to very little; if the heart be absent the whole thing will...
