There are a lot of people in the Bible that drank alcohol (Timothy is advised by Paul to do so, Jesus and the others probably drank wine at the weeding in Cana, even the Holly Supper...) So i don't think it's a sin - i too, although rarely, drink wine or beer. But if your conscience is saying NO, then you should listen to it. If you don't feel right about drinking, then don't do it. If, on the other way, you feel OK about drinking alcohol, do it, but be careful not to be a stumbling block for others...

diamonds, you're a sweet lady -

morethandiamonds, if I were your friend or sister and lived in your home with you, I would go out to the store RIGHT NOW and buy you some O'Douls. You deserve it. It's not hurting anyone, and you've been through so much. Whatever would bring you a little pleasure, I think, would be good right now.
Peter believed he was better than the Gentiles because of what they ate. God showed him that he made all things to eat. How can a non-alcoholic beverage hurt you? The only thing you might want to be concerned about is if there is someone in your life to which the beverage would be a stumbling block. Pray about it. I'm telling you, though, I'm about ready to go out and get you some and ship it to you right now! ![]() |
